I moved to where I live now. The last place the electricity wasn't in my name. The place before, I moved out of (in my name) 3 months before when my electric company says I owe an outstanding $400+ bill. I sent them documents like rent reciepts for the place I lived before where I live now. I sent faxes of my auto insurance new address for the place before where I live now. They tell me change of driver's liscence address is not proof of where I lived. Yet, if you get stopped by the police while driving they allways want a) proof of insurence and b) a current valid driver's liscense. Well, my electric company tells me this is not proof enough, and I owe over $400. They sent me a final notice of electricity cut off where I live now. I use only $13 a month worth of electricity. I can't pay no $400! How do I prove where I did or didn't live?.

Since I rarely drive the vehicle , I let the insurance lapse. Now I'm faced with paying for an accident out of my pocket.
The only injuries was my pride and pockets. How long does it usually take to for my new found bill to arrive? Months, weeks?

My semi-annual auto insurance renewal is coming up. I've shopped before and I think I'm already getting a damn good rate, but still I'd like to try to get an even better rate.

I've tried both Geico and Progressive, and both quoted me over $200 higher per year than I already pay. Any other good suggestions? This would be for coverage in California.

The owners insurance company does not want to pay, due to the non permissive user deal, but at the time of the accident the police stated that the girl was the daughter of the owner of the truck nothing was said about the truck being stolen? I received a phone call from his claim rep the next day he stated to me that the owner is saying his truck was stolen (06 Nissan Titan) and he did not know who was driving his truck also he is in "the process" of reporting his truck stolen???? it sounds way to fishy to me.. should I get an attorney involved? I think me and my 4 year old daughter have injuries as well..

I dont know why my car insurance is so high compared to my friends. I own a 2005 suzuki Forenza, I'm married, have no tickets and its still $176.00 per month, while my unmarried friends with nice cars are lower, I thought that being married and not having a sports car was suppose to lower the price. Anyways...let me know how I could get it lower. Thanks

When I travel on business for training my company asks me to rent a car and then share the car with my team. Often times the guys are just going to dinner or to the store but sometimes they are going to a bar or club in the evening. What happens if one of the guys is borrowing the car and gets in a wreck?

I was in an auto accident and I have medical insurance. My medical insurance covered my medical expenses; however, I wanted to know if the auto insurance is still liable for those expenses? It seems as if my having medical insurance should benefit me and not the liable party's auto insurance company. If I did not have medical insurance the auto insurance company would still have to pay for those expenses. So shouldn't they still have to pay for those expenses and I get what ever is left that my medical insurance company did not pay? Are there any laws statures that back this up in Georgia? I am trying to settle this claim without getting an attorney and I need all the help I can get. Any advice would be helpful. I am in the process of writing a demand letter. Thanks for all the help.
