The words 'Approved User' were displayed in proper style on a permanent plate and the car was newish and top of the range perhaps the driver had diplomatic immunity or something but I have not come across this before so I was hoping to find out a bit more

I've had my license for about 4 months now, and I'm not able to drive because "I don't have insurance." I'm just curious about how this actually works. Is it like, I have to have my own coverage? Or do my parents cover me? or.... whaaa? >_<''

I had an accident (& im not insured) the other cars insurance company is now claiming the car to be a write off - which means I have to pay market value and the owner of the car says he got it fixed (but it cost more than the market value) is this even legal?

Apparently, the writen test is available in Spanish, but a Spanish-speaking driving test is not available.

Do you know anything about this- doesn't seem right.

I have permanently lived in MA all my life. After graduating from college (in MA) I'm staying with my parents (also in MA) for a few months before I start my job.

I am *not* in the military, but my job involves moving to a DIFFERENT STATE every 6 months for 2 years. I want to keep my address with my parents as my permanent address. I have a MA license and car registration.

Since I'm not staying in another state for more than 6 months it's not a permanent move, right?? I don't need to change my registration and license every 6 months?

So is it ok to just notify my insurance of where the car will be garaged...even though it won't be in MA for 2 years and I have no other cars on my policy? Do I have to change my insurance address or can it be a temp garaging?

Will the state (MA or other) or my insurance (metlife) give me any grief about this???

i let him drive my car, and he ended up bumping into a gas pump knocking one of the pipes inside loose. they had to close it down and get some guy there to repair the thing. is this going to raise my insurance? and do i have to call this crap in to my insurance company?

Last weekend me and my sister in law was involved in an accident and I do not know who is too blame. She immediatly pointed the finger at me, and I would like some advice please!

Here's the story:

She dropped me back to my car which was parked on a private narrow road where I lived (we were in the process of moving house). I got out the passenger side of her car and walked in front of her car and over to mine. I immediately opened my car door, to search for my new house keys in the footwell. When I was walking to my car, she was reversing into an empty driveway to turn around.

Whilst I was searching for the keys my car door bumped open a bit more, little did I know she was at that point she was zooming past my car and my door banged into the side of her car causing damage to her car, and slight damage to the inside of my car door. I am of the view that she should have taken care whilst driving past, as my car door was already open and the road was narrow.
can any1 help?

off of work to get your stuff done. And we are trapped, it's not like they have any competition and any reason to make their service more convenient. Same deal with most banks...but luckily electronic banking has helped that a lot. Still no way around the fricking DMV's most inconvenient hours!!!!!!!!
