I'm a Pennsylvania resident and I just had a fender bender today in New Jersey. Will I get a lot of points? There was a lot of traffic. Here's what happened: There was at least one car length of space between me and the car in front of me. The car in front of the one I hit braked abruptly, and so did the car in front of me. I did the same. However, of course, I hit her car, damaged the fender and did a little damage to my car. How will the points play out knowing that I'm a PA resident with a PA license but this happened in NJ???

I was at a red light --when the light turned green a company truck in front of me let his truck roll back (manuel transmission) and caused minor damage to my car but then the driver proceeded to drive off--I did get his tag number and made a police report. At first the company was really acting helpful but they did not want to file it on their insurance but since they have been very hard to get along with--What should I do?

My ex-husband was pulled over for speeding in California on his way home to Nevada; he had a valid NV drivers license, he was driving my car (Calif. registration) he got a ticket for speeding and for not having a valid CA license. He tried to explain to the officer that he didn't live in CA, cop said it didn't matter, to drive a car registered in CA you must have a CA license. I went to pay ticket for him was told the same thing by 4 people at the court. Is this true? What about people on vacation from different states that rent cars in California? This makes no sense

I am not a UK Resident , I am here in the UK from Australia for 5 months on Holidays . This is my forth trip here and after the first time when I hired a car for 7 weeks at a cost of 1400.00 pounds i found out that it would be much better to buy a car as I was going to be here for 5 months. A few days ago i took my rent-a-car back the i had for 7 days and cost me 150.00 pounds , I found a car to buy at a cost of 1200.00 pounds but first went looking to find someone to Insure the car . I spent overs 2 hrs on the phone and there was on one that would do it for me apart from one . I have 3rd party insurance only for this car and at a cost of 1230.00 pounds for 12 months . I am at a loss as to WHY i have to pay this amount and WHY no one will do it . MY Question is why is it that there no question asked when i hire a car for as lond as i like and am covered be insurance BUT if I try to buy a car and have it Insured that is a joke , Am I a diferent driver if it is my one car ?

I was recently involved in an automobile accident. the driver in front of me ran over an inanimate object and it flew back and tore up the front and side end of my car. my insurance company said her insurance most likely wasnt going to pay b/c her car never touched mine so my insurance adjuster came out and did an estimate then notified me and told me to start the repairs and the check was in the mail on the hand the other insurance is going to pay 100% of the damages and said that my check will be mailed out so what am i suppose to do with both checks.

I moved to Arizona from Michigan about 4 months ago and I'm still on my old insurance from Michigan. Is this legal? Plus my registration expired and I have yet to register it for Arizona. Went to the DMV website and says I will need my title and old registration to register for the state. Will I get in trouble if it expired already?

I know.. I'm lazy...

In MN~ I got rear ended by a young girl and it was totally her fault. I now need my bumper fixed (estimate $820). Insurance company they have said they might not pay for the bumper to get fixed because the girl now claims it wasnt her fault and it was a brake malfunction. Her car is being looked at right now to see what happened.
The girls father is also a mechanic (so I am worried he could easily fudge with the car and make it look like a malfunctin). Is there anything I can do if the insurance company says they wont pay? Does the girl and her dad have to pay anything?? Because if not then i am stuck with a huge bent-in bumper which i will have to pay for even though its not my fault. Help I need advice!

She borrowed it for 20 minutes to go to the 7-11, and never returned. She was charged by the police and is now in jail. Problem is she gave the vehicle away for drugs... Now insurance is saying it is not covered.
