and he was involved in a car accident (he is at fault).... Would you sue his insurance? The reason I'm asking is because this happend to my grandfather and now his brothers family want him to sue my grandfathers insurance. I'm just wondering if this is OK for a family member to do. I'm feeling a little Pissed at him and I'm not sure if I have the right to.

The ins co for the other party is the same as our ins co & it seems they are trying to bully my daughter. She had a perfectly good drivable car before this person hit her parked car, and now they want to reduce their payment due to prior cosmetic damage and take the car. It doesn't sound legal. Any legal advice before I have to call an attorney. Again, car is registered in TN but the accident occured in Bay St Louis, MS. (reason I'm asking, in LA, you keep the car) Thanks.

I only owned the car for a couple months, and rarely drove it, never had title switched into my name. I signed the bill of sale, yet never received all the money for the vehicle. The kid I sold it to claims he paid me all the money. He filed in court, and I now find out I have a bench warrant. SInce I did not show up in court, does he automaticly own the car? Or is it still mine since I hald the title? Can I repo it, or report it stolen? He has bill of sale, and a bench warrant on me, I have the title, who wins?

I don't have a car so I have no car insurance. Occasionally I rent a car, but I always get screwed with the rental company's high insurance premiums. Are there any insurance companies that provide insurance on a short term basis. I have a good driving record.

If the other guy's insurance company calls up to "Grill" me to find out information" -- should I talk to them or tell them to talk with my insurance company? (who I have already given info to)

The other guy was following a tractor on a two lane road in a "passing zone" -- I pulled into the passing lane and was halfway past the other guy when he pulled over into my car -- damaging his left front headlight and my right rear fender.

If you are involved in a motor vehicle crash in the State of Washington, can you be sued by a motorist who was not carrying motor vehicle insurance? I have not yet been able to find this in the RCW (Revised Code of Washington). However, I have had rumors that they cannot sue because they were not carying insurance. Help!
