My friend was driving my car. We were going to a marketing research session where we were both to make 125.00. I figured my car is nicer, I like a/c and she doesn't like to turn a/c on to save gas so she drove my car. Afterwards, we stopped at Taco Bell and in leaving the parking lot she hit a STATIONARY pole outside of the entrance way which was put there so the box trucks don't hit the overhang of the building. The pole was on the left hand side which means she should have been further over in the lot coming around the corner cause its a 2 way in/out and she hit it on the driver's side which means she was on the wrong side of the road. My car had 6000 of damage. MY insurance is covering everything except my 500 deductible. She wants to pay 250 instead of the 500 and have me go after taco bell for having the pole there. There is no law saying they can't have the pole there and I do not need the grief. Is she responsible for the 500?

many women wear their jeans pasted into their skin so that you can see the curves of their bottoms and everything else.although as a man i enjoy looking i think it is vulgar indecent and offensive;i do not accept that it is none of my business as i think it is an offence to public decency and that many of the women are showing off or making some kind of other point at some level in their consciousness.althlough i am not a prude i would refuse to accompany such a woman as they are quite clearly making some kind of a point even if they are not aware of it or they are too stupid to realise it
dont even trying to make a feminist point out of this as this is a stupidity and no class not knowing how to behave problem

I am trying to buy a used car and the carfax report showed Not Actual Mileage title in 2004. however, the mileage seems to be consistent since 3 months before the NAM title was issed the mileage was 3000 miles less. according to the seller, the title was transferred because the original owner passed away. therefore, i am wondering if it's common that this happens during inhertiance transfer.

I was rear-ended and it is an obvious total loss. The other driver's insurance company will pay me the car's market value, but will I be GUARANTEED the option to buy the salvage of the car? The car has expensive aftermarket parts that I would like to remove.

I live in California.

My X has had two accidents and a speeding ticket in the last two years. Her insurance company dropped her. The car she is driving now is financed and as everyone knows, it must carry full coverage, but the quotes are crazy. From $200 a month to $430 a month. She used to pay $65 a month. Can anyone suggest how to get full coverage and still keep her pocketbook happy?

I was rearended today and saw no damage to my car or my body though I was thrown forward. After looking at my car, I walked over to the person who rearended me. She didn't even get out of the car. She just rolled down her window and said "I'm sorry" At that moment I saw nothing I could "hold her on" I thought if there was damage to the car then yes, take the information but if not, guess there is no problem. It was my first accident and wasn't thinking quite clearly. All I had in the back of my head was the ad on the radio or tv on allstate insurance - the longer period of time you are not in an accident the more coverage or money they give you.... though I don't have Allstate I just thought if you didn't report it it won't hurt anyone. But it could hurt me in the end if I end up with whiplash and Chiroprator visits to pay... I was more tryin to figure out what had just happened. My back is starting to ache and hope I do not have whip lash :( Any advice?

I was in a car accident about a year ago. Other party's fault. Now I am getting a settlement letter from the other party's insurance: they're only willing to pay $500 of $1000 of my car rental bill. They say the car was in the shop unreasonably too long. It was just after the hurricaine last year and all bodyshops were way behind due to all the cars damaged by force majeure. I tried to bargain with them, but they wouldn't budge. Do I have to take them to court? Is it worth it? What else can I do?

My 2001 Subaru Impreza was stolen last night and like an idiot I left the keys in the car. In my defense, I'm currently taking medication which makes me drowsy and I passed out on the couch with the intent of going to the store later. When I woke up in the middle of the night I went to bed thinking nothing of the keys..

Fast Fwd to this morning. Car is gone and I've reported it solen. Told the Sheriff and USAA that I did leave the keys in and explained my circumstances. Sheriff said it happens... USAA said they'll have someone in touch with me within 24 hours.

Is USAA going to cover my vehicle in the event it is not recovered or totaled?

Is it a legal requirement to have caravan insurance to tow it on the roads, I know to repalce it etc you need insurance but just to tow an old van for one weekend a year is it worth it, other than to be legal on the roads.
