Once again, I had a friend who was hit by an illegal mexican immigrant who fled the scene (leaving his mangled car) and did not have insurance. Later he tried to report the car stolen despite the fact that it happened about 200 feet from his Apartment!!! This is seriously like the 4th time this has happened to one of my friends in the 1.5 years I have lived in Texas. I try not to be judgemental and not stereotype however since I moved from Cleveland to TX, I have had WAY more bad experiences than good with the Mexicans here. I have paid out the A$$ for insurance since I turned 16, sometimes paying more for insurance than I did for my car. Do these people think it is our responsibility to have insurance to cover their screw ups? No wonder our rates in Texas are so freaking high.

Im just wondering if there is anything that can be done to get my drivers license back in QUICKER manner..

My license was suspended for no proof of insurance and expired tags. I live in Las Vegas,Nevada.

I bought a used vehicle and before I had added it to my current auto insurance policy I was pulled over for an expired registration. The car had been sitting before I aquired it. My insurance policy was current and covered two other vehicles with liability only. On my proof of insurance card it states that it may provide coverage for other persons and other vehicles as provided by the insurance policy. I cannot find any reference to this in my policy or on line. My insurance is with Farmers.

My 2006 Mazda 3 was rear ended and damaged both front and back side.

It was total in only 3 months old in brand new condition.

Couple days after the accident, I visit the tow shop for my car, I noticed 4 brake disc are very rusty. They all look like it's been sitting there for long time, but in fact only 2 days.

Could it cause by the heavy brake force I applied or the ABS activated after the impacts?

Any suggestion?

the vehicle. the person who hit her wasn't insured, but he had 30 day tags on the vehicle also overstay and reckles driving which he recviced tickets for. Put the claim on the same day of the accident which now 30days ago and still nothing from my insurance compay if they are going to pay out. Can some one tell me if I have a right to cancle the policy,because its been 30days and 5days and havn't heard nothing from my insurance.

The guy rear-end me only has 10,000 on coverage(Progressive) to cover my brand new 3 months old 2006 mazda (worth 20,000 and total).

I have full coverage with Geico; will Geico pay me for the car in full and go after the faulty party?

He also had a boat towing when the accident happened.

And will my premium w/GEICO increase after all of this?

Please give me your suggesions and experience, I am really lost after all of this, my muscle is still hurt.

I was on my way to Red Sox Marlins game in Florida when this guy rear-ended me on interstate highway, but everything was lost...

We went to those that advertise all the time and they first quoted us a real low price. But then when you actually speak to a person and they start asking you all kinds of stupid questions like do you own pets and things like that, their rates ended up being HIGHER.

I need to obtain insurance online, and I am NOT able to GO INTO a DMV so how would I just get my lic. # online. I've tried the DMV online, they just tell you to go in. I have my ss#. .. so wouldn't there be a sight online that could provide me with my d.l. # !!??

I'm moving from Baton Rouge to Houston for college. I need to know if I would need to get a Texas driver's license since I would not be considered a Texas resident.
