My 2006 Mazda 3 was rear ended and damaged both front and back side.

It was total in only 3 months old in brand new condition.

Couple days after the accident, I visit the tow shop for my car, I noticed 4 brake disc are very rusty. They all look like it's been sitting there for long time, but in fact only 2 days.

Could it cause by the heavy brake force I applied or the ABS activated after the impacts?

Any suggestion?

no, rust can start to form very quickly on bare iron it can be seen in just a matter of hours, the rust that you see is very new and is just on the surrface.I am a mechanic and I have seen rotors I took of that morning get a little water on them a have rust by that evening.
