I passed on my second time when I was 18, but I didn't like the attitude of the second trooper I did it with because while he was nicer than the first, he slammed the dashboard of my car because I got an answer wrong he asked me then grilled me for not having a girlfriend saying "why not", then he bitched because he was too tall for the car. Was there anything behind this?

Last year I've gotten 2 speeding tickets here in the state of california. I received them both within 2 weeks. I cleared one of them with traffic school, but I couldn't clear the other ticket because you can only do traffic school once a year per ticket. My question is, will this one ticket that is on my record make my insurance go up? I have 21st century insurance by the way if that helps with answering this question. And also how many points would that be on my record? Please answer asap. Thank you

I have a real sweet old lady friend and she got a van from a friend that purchaced it back in 1989 and @ that time the person she paid $ to was gone from the house she went to origanally to buy it from &they MOVED OUT! (Reason- improper Papers) so sence then its been to Iowa and back and now Hers and not able to smog it! she invested more $ than worth and cant get it transferd in her name cuz no proof of its real owner. my friend never transferd it to her name do to its relocating to Iowa. just a temp-out of state pass @ that time1989 Its Registered to her & Insurance too. but now smog!!Cant qualify for the capps program do to the transfering of owners. She on SSI! and a OLD LADY!! Cant even sell it to salvage!! need the title to ask our state to help w/cost of smogging it! be legal!!She sence got a ticket and still cant fix that too. another $480.00 tords our wonderful states laws & trumped up game of regulations!! is there a loop hole i dont know of. ONLY REAL HELP PLEASE!!

I have had insurance for 20+ years. I recently called them to tell them I had moved. For the first time EVER they are insisting (through phone calls, mail and email) that I MUST give them information on who I live with and what THEIR car insurance is. I don't want to give this out. Can they cancel my insurance? Has anyone ever heard of this?

Question for people who really know. Prefferable a law student or lawyer...My sister gave me her car so that she could get one with cheaper payments and wouldent have to let it get repo'ed. I became unemployed and couldnt afford the insurance any longer. I had gotten into an accident. The accident was deemed my fault. There is a company that is now persuing medical and workers comp. from me. This company has already paid out to the other party but wants to get the money back from me. I have been told my only option is to either settle and pay or file bankruptcy. At this point in my life bankruptcy is my only option. Can this company legally then, after I file chapter 7, try to collect from my sister. Keep in mind that although she was the owner on paper I have been making car payments for several months. I was the one that was driving and got into the accident. My sister didnt know I was uninsured. Can they still take her to court and get a judgement or garnish her wages?

What are the rules with car insurance? I know if you are under the age of 25 the price is ridiculous. So obvioulsly you get the insurance under someone (your parents, other family, etc). Now to get insurance, does the car title have to be in that same persons name who is getting the insurance? Anyone know how to get cheaper insurance? Just wondering if anyone has any advice...

I have a hero honda splendor on my name ( RC book, insurance, puc all on my name ) the passing is karnataka ( KA 22 )
As i have shifted to mumbai I have brought my bike through transport to mumbai but the RTO police asks for NOC.
Cant i drive my bike all over india without NOC?
I thought we can drive bike in different state for one year and incase we stay more then we have to re register bike and get MH number.
Any site where I can get to know RTO rules??

To make a long story short, I let my sister borrow a car of mine. She's had it now for about 2 months, since her car is down. This month she only paid me half of the money and now Im having difficulty in reaching her as if she is avoiding me. I know where she lives and want to get my car back. The problem is this, I only have a valet key left....Can I get into the 2005 infiniti FX35 without making the alarm go off with just a valet key? Or should I just order a whole new set of keys with the alarm fob attached and then take the car back? How long does it take to get a new set of keys made anyway? Thanks for your help..

I heard that DVLA are screwing up some peoples licences. I need to change my address and i was told that if thier computer removes my entitlements, then i will have to retake my test etc from scratch. I heard a Police officer had to retake his cbt , and get his full bike test again, in order to ride a motorcycle.... He had sent off his licence to update it and dvla removed his bike entitlement and they refused to put it back on, saying he never had it, even though he was a police bike cop???.
So im concerned if i send off my licence i might loose my licnce.
I know DVLA are wishy-washy, as when you phone them up the information they give isnt always right, as been reported in MCN magazine of the past months
So what can i do?

Ok, I don't have a car nor have I ever owned one so I'm not exactly sure how this works and I sure as hell don't know to explain this so please bear with me. My fiance, who's turning 21 soon, is on Farmer's insurance and his dad decided that he and his daughter (my fiance's sister) were going to be on my fiance's insurance. Like, the main guy in the insurance is my fiance, then his dad, and his sister on his dad's. His dad pays less than he does a month and his sister pays WAY less than him a month. His dad says that having them on his insurance would cost him less than he just being by himself. Is this true or is his dad ripping him off? They all seem to pay way less now that they're on his insurance. So, is it a rip off?

and that person moves to another city within same town . . .will people still come around trying to get him on the warrant . . or once he moves to other town they will leave him alone and not bother looking up where his new residence is. Also, if he is still in same vehicle, . . .can he just be pulled over for nothing other than based on the fact that a cop recognizes his vehicle as belonging to him who has a revoked liscense bench warrant. What is difference between a warrant and a bench warrant?

A drunk driver hit my parked car on St. Patricks day (night rather) back in March 06. I didn't have insurance on my car, only liability at the time. I got insurance the very next day.

The guy also hit 4 other cars before fleeing on foot. He went to the hospital and that's how the police picked him up, as well as leaving his shattered car at the scene.

I was just able to get the poilce report yesterday. Everyone else had their insurance pay for their vehicles. When the police talked to the driver he gave him false info. such as insurance (he doesnt have any).

Can I still get money for damage for my car? Luckily I didn't have serious damage as others did (2 cars were actually totaled). The driver side is scrapped (like a can opener) and the back drivers door is hard to open. He also shattered my drivers mirror, and busted my drivers back tire and my axle under my car keeps making a grinding noise.

I am an illegal alien here in chicago, illinois but i have a car that i drive to and from indiana (about a 40 minute drive).
