No tint on windshield, aside from factory tinting, past the AS-1 line.
Net transmissivity must not be less than 35% on all other windows. Net means the original glass PLUS the tint.
This is for aftermarket tints. Factory original glass that meets the FMVSS is legal regardless of the tint.

In most states if you have two outside mirrors, you can tint the back windows as much as you'd like. The windshield can't be tinted below a certain point, either the arrow/line, or 2" down which ever is less, and check ordinances as to percentage on the front side glass. There will be a limit on how much light they transmit and also how much they reflect.

That's something you might ask the local police dept about, since they're the ones that would pulling you over if they were tinted too dark. If you want a limo tint, just call them and ask them if that's ok.
