Last week I was in a car accident. I was sitting at a red light. The light turned green and I proceeded to go through the intersection when a vehicle ran the red light hitting my car. Police arrived at the scene and issued a ticket to the other driver. There were several witnesses that came forward stating the fact that the light was green for me. My insurance totaled my car and will issue me a check for the blue book value. I have heard from the other motorist's insurance company stating that they have talked to one of the witnesses and they agree that I am not at fault. They want me to call them. My insurance company advises me to deal with them and not the other motorist's insurance company. My vehicle was a 2002 Honda Accord LX. With the money that my insurance wants to give me, I am finding it hard to get a replacement vehicle without putting out my own money. I'm thinking about calling the other ins. co. to see what they are going to offer. Any advice would be appreciated.

I know of a car for sale that was in an accident, has been rebuilt to its original condition and has a salvage title. I live in Tennessee- is this legal to register and drive or do I have to apply for another kind of title and how much does that usually cost?

As most of foreign tourists owning properties in Florida, my brother was used to drive the family's car while he visited from abroad. I wanted to know if he can still drive our car as opposed to drive a rented car. He is a national from Venezuela and comes to Florida twice a year staying at his own place. If he is stopped by Law Enforcement or is involved in an accident will my insurance be valid? Is he violating the law if he drives a private vehicle? What are the legal consequences in South Florida?

I had a car accident 3 weeks ago. I was in the right lane about to turn right, when a fire truck (who was in the left only lane) needed to go straight. They stuck their hand out at me to stop and I did. The person behind me ran into me. The damage was to my rear bumper.

Since it was very minor we agreed not to call the police or insurance. The guy asked for me to get a quote and call him and he would prefer to settle without insurance involved. I have been calling him for 2 weeks now leaving messages, but he never calls me back.

I have his insurance information (company & policy no.), but do not have his license plate no or DL no. Can I call the insurance company directly? What can I do to have my bumper replaced - the estimate was $550.

I have a motorcycle that i want to title.owner has disappeared and I cannot find him or any info on him.NCDMV(which was where bike was registered and titled,about 10 or 11 yrs ago,shows no VIN number in computers.was vin number deleted from their files due to inactivity.Help! Thanks TS

It was raining and a guy stopped suddenly to turn and I hit him. I know that I am resposible for his damage, but I was hit by a lady in the back and she hit me so hard that I hit the guy again, we were all in a line I was in the middle, I need to know is she resposible for my car or just the back, because there was obviously more damage when she hit me and made me hit him again. Both her and I 2nd and 3rd cars were issued tickets re weather conditions truck 1st driver was not....please anyone that can help I am from tx and I know nothing about Louisianna law brandy_foster24@yahoo

ok i schedule my road test n it finally came today! i was ready n everything. But when i get there i forgot i needed my glasses n my 20 hrs of supervised driving sheet. so i go home n get all that done n im back within 25 minutes n everyone is still there taking it. n he says no! i dunno who signed that (my mom rally did sign it) n he doesnt think these are my glasses. he tells me so before u didnt need glasses and now u need them? n i tell him i dont ordinarally use them but still refuses. n he keeps amking a big deal about my glasses cause i wasnt wearing them the first time. i just didnt like wearing them. so i brought out the old school glasses from 8th grade n with my paper. he keeps saying go back to the dmv n get a new permit that says u dont need glasses then u can take the test. i was about to destroy him so yeah i got to wait 6 more weeks or prolly forever. Isnt that messed up?
