I requested a quote on the esurance website at http://www.esurance.com/welcome/get_your_quote_today37.asp?PromoID=OVTR00002&ovmkt=F514P438854P83GLQ3R250K9PC&OVRAW=Auto%20Insurance&OVKEY=auto%20insurance&OVMTC=standard and it seemed okay, but not sure about using an online insurance company where there's no live rep. If you've tried it before let me know how it worked out for you. -Maria Also, has anyone had a poblem with delay in typing on Yahoo Answers? Everytime I type here there is such a delay. I would do better not looking at the screen because it slows me down, waiting for letters already typed keys, etc. Thanks 4 ur input. -M.

I got into a small accident the other day, I rear-ended somebody but it was just like a tap and there was no dent or scratch on her car.
I was behind her at a red light where you're allowed to do right on red. She like edged forward like she was gonna go but then stopped and I had starting moving too and did not stop in time. I felt the bump, but like I said, there was no damage at all to her car, or mine.
But she called the cops anyway.
So anyway there is a a court date in about a month. If the lady doesn't show then I get my license back and that's that.
But I'm worried that she will show and make up some lie about how there is damage to her car.

So anyway my question is what exactly can she do to me? Like sue me or just make my insurance go up?
If she claims that I damaged her car would the judge just make my insurance pay, or do they actually check it out to make sure that she's telling the truth?
....And if she doesn't show at court will my insurance still go up?

I recently got into an accident where I totaled my vehicle. My insurance payed for what the vehicle is only worth but there is still some money I owe to the bank (lean holder) which GAP insurance covers. But will they still cover it, if I get a DUI? My regular auto insurance did.

I have a friend who grew up in the city and I want to help her build up driving confidence. She has a license but essentially she just took a crash driving course and never really had any highway experience. She does not have a car and so obviously she is uninsured. I am insured but I want to know if it is okay to let her practice on my car while I am sitting besides her. Any ideas? This is for California, by the way.

NC DMV are so demanding. They want a bill of sale, lien blah, blah, blah, and for these documents to be notarized. What does that mean? I bought a trailer from oregon. moved it to charlotte, nc and then sold it after it had been in storage for 11 months. I sold the trailer, mailed out the title with just the dealership's number and info. I hadn't signed it yet. I called the dealership if they could generate a bill of sale for them since we hadn't registered it. Would I have to register it in Oregon first and then transfer it to them? It would cost me $165 in wasted dollars. There has to be a better way. Or could I just sign some forms releasing me from all liability without registering the vehicle. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She works at a fuel station and a lady ran over her ankle and consequently has lost $3,000 dollars in medical treatment and lost wages. She asked me to research how much one should ask for in this type of scenario. The insurance company supposedly has offered $9,000... is it common to obtain more? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I do not have insurance, she does and is allowing me to use her car. Would it go on her insurance? Or would we have to pay the entire cost out of pocket? Whether it is my fault or not? And pay her deductible?
