I had an accident where I was making a left turn at a green light (had a protected green arrow), two left lanes go left only, I was in the far left lane. It was raining and the streets were extremely slick. A guy coming from the opposite direction ran the red light and tried to stop. The car to my right turned left in front of me to avoid being hit by the red light runner. I broad sided him as he turned left in front of me ( basically he made a u-turn in front of me). I was driving a dodge ram and hit his caravan pretty hard, about $10,000 in damage between the two vehicles. The police and insurance both agreed it was the red light runner's fault and the guy that turned in front of me for faulty evasive action. They both paid 50/50 for my damages and medical bills plus settled for a sum of money for me not to sue them.. My insurance never went up, in fact it went down. The accident shows up on my driving record as a not at fault accident, but it has not affected my insurance rates or premiums at all.

it depends, it could be partially your fault .. even though it may not seem that way. Unless you were parked, or completely hit from behind, then they may assign some of the fault to you. Even if it's 10% your fault-90% other driver, your premiums will go up.

It shouldn't...because it wouldn't even be reported to your insurance.
