Just get your insurance and tell the agent that the dealer needs a binder. They do this all the time, and probably already know the dealer's fax number.

The binder is legal proof that a policy has been issued. It lists the coverage you have and the policy limits and deductibles. Don't confuse this with the proof of insurance card mandated by most states' laws; it's not the same thing.

an insurance binder is to show the dealer an or bank that you have ins. on that vehicle and your coverage
