When court is over with, if you are found at fault pay the claim, get the receipt, and sue your insurance company to be reimbursed for your losses. Of course if you have a deductible, that amount will be your responsibility. For example, you are sued for $835.47 with a $500 deductible, the insurance is only liable for the $335.47. I'm not sure about the court costs which you will have to pay if you are found to be at fault, ask the attorney.

The other owner must claim this with his insurance company. His insurance company will then be reimbursed by yours.

You should never admit fault for an accident, even if you are at fault.
