my permanent address and everything is in WV. I rent an apartment in OHio, and i attend school at Marshall University in WV. Do i have to register my car in ohio or can i leave it in WV because i am a student. i think there is a law the protects students from having to reregister cars and each year because of attending school because of temporary residency.

In an accident report can the other driver change it's story after the acc. report was filed and state no fault after he stated to the police that he in fact hit me while switching lanes?
His insurance company is claiming no-fault after the driver clearly hit me while driving his truck when he switched lanes. Nothing happened to me but now i'm stuck with paying my deductible and it wasn't even my fault. Can he do that? Can he just change a story and his insurance company go by what he says even though the accident report from the police is stating that he in fact hit me. Please answer. I'm confused is my first accident.

I got a ticket 3 years ago. I just got one recently around February. My car insurance will get renewed around August. When they renew my insurance and they estimate the new amount for my car insurance, will they find out about my recent ticket? I know the past one from 3 years ago will get dropped off since car insurance companies dont count tickets from 3 years ago, but will the one that I had from this year get counted into the new estimate this year?

Okay, to cut a long story short
Dad has his pride and joy G reg Jag stolen (market value next to nothing but as a retirement present to himself priceless)
Police recover it next day
Damage to car is: one rear quarter glass smashed, steering lock damaged beyond repair and dash board damage.
Garage has quoted nearly £2000 to repair ???
The garage, realising the good condition of the car and how much it means to my dad, called yesterday saying the insurance company have told them to send the car for salvage on Monday.
We strike a deal with the garage to deliver the car home and phone the insurance company (bearing in mind we hadn't heard anything from them in nearly to weeks)
Yes the car was to be scrapped as it is beyond economic repair and a settlement figure is in the post.
Can they just scrap a car and then send out a settlement figure ?
Anyone know the best way to deal with elephant.com or are we stuffed.
Oh, and in their small print they have a "no buy back" clause

If they share the road, they need to be licensed and insured. Just like four-wheeled vehicles. License, insurance, registration, etc. It's always the cars drivers at fault when an accident occurs, but sometimes, it's the bicyclists fault. They dart into traffic without looking, especially kids. And, as sad as that is, some bicyclists should be held responsible. Does anyone else agree? Thank you.

I just got personalized license plates, and I need to transfer my "07" registration plate sticker from my old plates to put on my new ones. Is it possible to do this without ruining the sticker? I don't want to have to pay the registration fee again.

I was rear ended hard by another car. She was cited by police. I was not injured and $2000 worth of damage was done to my car. Her insurance company is taking car of my car and the rental but even though I am not injured, I am wondering about getting $1000-$2000 because of her negligence and the inconvienence it has caused me. Also even though my car will be repaired to original condition, when I sell it and someone hears it was in an accident, people just don't like that. I know trying to receive diminished value is not really a legit thing, but I am wondering if the insurance company would try and offer me a little to settle without anything else.

I was just the victim of a 2nd accident in the same vehicle. I didn't plan any of this, my question is, since the car was pronounced a loss once, does it have an affect on this insurance claim? Am I screwed?
