You may request a vehicle history, uncertified as you do not need it for court. If you just traded it recently, it may still show in your name and you should be able to ask the DMV customer service rep to simply tell you what the plate number was.

A copy of the insurance policy for the vehicle should be available at the insurance office where you purchased the auto insurance.............If they are a private company so much the better......go there and ask nicely, they may be able to help you.Perhaps for a small fee......??????
