my permanent address and everything is in WV. I rent an apartment in OHio, and i attend school at Marshall University in WV. Do i have to register my car in ohio or can i leave it in WV because i am a student. i think there is a law the protects students from having to reregister cars and each year because of attending school because of temporary residency.

I would think you should be fine. You might want to check, though, with the DMV in Ohio and see what they say. Always good to check to be sure. Active military is exempt from having to do that (they are allowed to keep their license & registration from their home state). Would think out of state students have that same clause as well, but check....to be sure.
