My car was destroyed due to arson but a junker was able to take the car because everything was salvageable under the hood (motor, radiator, etc.) but they never took the title. What should I do to ensure I am covering my behind so that some kind of VIN# scam doesnt come back and haunt me??

A year ago I was in an accident that was my fault. I had full comprehensive insurance but the car I was driving was not covered and it was not my car. As a result I am being sued now . Someone told me that because I had full comprehensive insurance through them on my car that they should cover me even when i drive another car.. Kind of like when you go to a dealership and test drive a car and if you get into an accident, well your insurance covers you then.

My insurance company has turned there backs on me . Can I sue them because I am being sued ? Please help!

Can some one, anyone, explaine to me the logic of my insurance going up when some idtio hits my car while it was parked in my driveway?
I have a perfect driving record. Not even a speeding ticket. Never even pulled over!

How come the victim is yet again victimized by the Insurance company?
Where's the logic?
Is there any logic?

I'm moving to the east bay area and was thinking of buying a car here and then driving it there but I learned that I would still have to pay the difference on the tax. Also the problem of insurance comes up because insurance rates are much higher in california then at home. Any advice on buying a car or buying car insurance in pricey california would be helpful. Thanks!

I currently live in the state of wisconsin, and I met a beautiful girl at a store. We talked to each other for a little while, but I was to shy to ask her if she would like to do something with me some time. As I was about to drive off I read a funny license plate and I said no that couldn't be hers. Well she got into that car and smiled and waived. Who is she?? How can I find out how to reach her from her license plate?

The driver of the car quickly u-turned and sped off but a very nice couple followed the car and got the license plate number. I got a police report and called the insurance company but got very little help. They gave me the story about I only had liability and its not much they can do. I didn't go to the hospital even though I had lower back pain and severe headaches, i just took Tylenol to ease the pain. Can someone tell me what can I get the Insurance company and the Police to do so I can be compensated because my car suffered major driver side and front-end damage beyond repair?

I was involved in an auto accident where the other driver was at fault. There insurance has offered to pay for all the repairs. Now I want to file a claim for bodily or personal injury for me and my wife as we were both in the car. How do I file it and how much should I ask for?

I've been getting tickets in Queens, NY for no registration but I've paid the registration. The DMV didn't send me my new registration because my new last name isn't on the title.

The tickets should get dropped when I show my new registration but how can I skip the towing fee when I go to pick up my car?

I'm reviewing coverages for my auto insurance policy's liability limits. Are coverages of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident low coverages relative to what juries are awarding plaintiffs nowadays? The more qualified & experienced you are, the better I'll value your answer.

Here is the situation...about a year ago, I bought a new car. I put 1500.00 down, and rolled over a loan for 2700.00 from my last car and truck. The total cost of the car was around 10 grand, I borrowed about 13 or 14, not sure how much exactly. About a month ago, it was totalled. At the time of the loss, I still owed about 11500 on the car, the other insurance paid about 8500 on the car...leaving about 2500 or so on the loan. Will my Gap pay off the loan, or only part of it since I rolled over another loan into it? My insurance agent has not worked with Gap too much and isn't too sure, he said it would be a "learning expirience" for him!

I was involved in a car accident a little over a month ago. There were 6 cars involved, 4 of which were totalled. I was car number 4. One person was determined responsible for the entire accident. Unfortunately, of course he didn't carry enough insurance to pay for all of the cars involved, so my insurance had to pay for mine. My lost wages and medical bills total over $7 thousand. According to all I've read, I am ENTITLED to the very least 2 times the amount as pain and suffering in addition to medical bills. I was in alot of pain and on some days I still am. The morons insurance has told my husband they will only make a one time offer as settlement and that it's "just a rumor" at what I'm entitled to. What can I reasonably expect? My car was totalled, which was not paid off, I've had to purchase another car, and I do have high medical bills and I have lost work. Will the other persons insurance actually only make 1 settlement offer?

I had an accident and have not yet had had estimates completed, but am afraid that my car might be "totalled", and my insurance policy says that I am covered up to the "cash value" of the car. Is this the retail value, trade-in value, or private party value before the accident?

I was recently pulled over and was ticketed for driving w/o insurance. Because it had lapsed, now the state wants a copy from the ins. co. stating I was covered at the time. Having no coverage is frowned upon big time so I'm not sure as to if there's a legal way out. Any help would be appreciated.
