Got to DVLA website and download the form 'Driving in Britain as a visitor or new resident' This will tell you which forms to use to apply for a UK licence.

Go to your local DVLA office with all your documentation , id etc should be able to give you the right forms to complete. Don't try foning DVLA at Swansea it is a nightmare getting through. I should know I work for a car dealership!

Contact the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency).

Website:
http://www.dvla.gov.uk/

'Contact Us' section:
http://www.dvla.gov.uk/contact/dvla_contact.htm

Phone:
0870 240 0009

E-Mail:
drivers.dvla@gtnet.gov.uk

I don't think you can just 'convert' your license, therefore you'll have to re-take the test and/or driving lessons.
