If she puts a claim in regarding my car stating she was using the car that day (she is not specifically insured for my car, her policy just says "any car") will it be successful? A door needs to be replaced due to the damage done.

My license was suspended without my knowledge back in November 2006, and I live in Tampa, FL. The reason it was suspended was because I had mailed a speeding ticket payment, and because of mail delays, they did not receive my payment in time and therefore suspended my license without my knowledge. I got into a car accident, and the cops found out my license was suspended and took it away. The next day, I received a letter from the DMV stating that my license was to be reinstated. I'm going to court to get the citation lifted, how do I prepare myself for traffic court? Never done this before.

My car was rear-ended, and as of now it seems to be my fault. I do have comprehensive coverage, like collision and all that, with $500 deductible. I filed a claim today and they scheduled me for an appraisal. So my question is should I trust them with repairing my car? or should I find a repair shop myself? Is it better for me to find a different place to estimate the repair again? This is my first accident, really have no idea what to do...
My insurance is with Liberty Mutual.

My auto insurance requires me to provide the names of all family members who own driver licenses and live in the same address. This come at no extra cost.

Does this mean they are insured? If so, each of my family members will be insured under MORE THAN ONE policies?

And if they are insured, what's the difference between seconday drivers and family members?

I just entered highway and doing about 40mph All of a sudden I got confused with the pavement and thought the lanes are merging. So I slowed down... probably really slow. The guy behind me rear-ended my car, or he got hit by the 3rd car and then hit mine( i am not so sure, but I felt there was only one collision). I guess the 3rd car was totaled, the back of my car is pretty messed up, and the one behind me looks ok. The police came and after talking to us he wrote me a citation, on which it says "improper stopping". So I guess he think it's my fault. So is this really at my fault? or should I take it to court? and if so what should I say to the judge?
Thx so much...

Hello, My car was stolen from me and did not get anything from insurance company because I was not covered. People are telling me to stay with my first insurance company though I did not buy a new car yet and then switch to a new company, but I want to cancel. Now if if the new insurance company asked me about the reason y I canceled with the first company, what should I say? I am afraid my premium will go up if they know I had my car stolen. If I did not tell them, will they have the right to contact my old company to find out the reason? I am really not sure!!
Some advice please
thanks

My aunt was driving a her brand new car and suddenly she slammed to a telephone pole. Thank you for the airbag she was saved. But she could not recover from her fear and have not drive a car more than 2 years. She tried therapy and it did not work. Last time I tried to encourage her but she was driving one time 5mps and next time she could not release her foot from the accelerator. It was kind of scary to seat next to her. Now what she have to do. Any feedback is really appreciated

This question was posed to me by a mentor who was giving me advice not to worry so much about what might happen. Which brings me to my topic, car insurance. I heard a report today that there were only 29,000 injuries in the US as a result of a car accident. So, figure if they conservitively, and I mean conservitivly settled for 1m a peice, that is 29b, now in most cases they settle for far less, probably averaging 50k a settlement, including repairs and medical. My question is what is the insurance industry doing with the other 321Billion they take in? Really think about it, for every instance of driving that you have what is the real percentage of accidents? It is statistically insignificant and should not warrant mandetory insurance for safe drivers. They should take those profits and make insurance rates equal to what they need for payouts, which is about $20 a month per driver. BTW, do you need saber tooth tiger insurance?

I had my brother listed as a driver on my insurance policy and he is moving so will no longer be using my car. The insurance company is requiring that I show proof of insurance before removing him from the policy. They are telling me there is no other way to remove him from the policy due to a DUI charge. Is it even possible to get car insurance without a car? What should I do?

I was in a wreck, and I am not at fault. The car was in immaculate condition and was under full warranty, but the car is an '05. Now, StateFarm is telling me that they will be using some 'refurbished' parts to repair the vehicle. I don't understand how that is legal since the car was under warranty, and If I would have taken it into Honda they would have replaced everything with new parts. Does anyone have any advice on my rights in this circumstance, or at least where I can find information. I understand that in normal circumstances they are allowed to use used parts, but I really don't understand how that is right in my circumstance? Thanks for your help!
