I had an accident two weeks ago I wonder if my insurance pay for my medical costs. (suppose I am at fault) and I have full coverage insurance which includes:
Bodily injury 25/50 (is it for the other person involved who is not at fault or can it be used for me too?)

uninsured motorist 25/50
comprehensive
collision

My boyfriend just bought a car outright (from his Uncle) for his daughter who is turning 16 in 4 months.

His daughter does not live with him, she lives with her mother 1 hour away and visits her dad every 2 weeks or so.

Question: what is the best way to title/register this car? In her name, her dad's name? The insurance for the car: can it be under her mother's policy (with her as a listed driver) if the car is titled/registered in the daughter's name? Can or should it be under the daughter's own and separate policy entirely? (I don't think that is possible at 16?....)

Trying to avoid daughter having to be insured on her dad's policy.

Please advise, this is in Florida.

Thanks!

During the storms last week some roof tiles fell from my house and smashed into our neighbours car.

I called the insurance company who initially said, no problem, the neighbours car is covered under our "occupiers liability" insurance (as we expected). Now however, they are stating that the neighbours have to claim off their car insurance as we are not liable, because they claim the storm caused the slates to fall, not us personally!
This came as a complete shock to us and does not seem right at all - we asked someone who used to work for a loss adjusters and they think we would be covered. Does anyone working in insurance know where we stand? We simply cannot expect our neighbours to have to pay out an excess and lose their no claims because of our house!

To clear up some of the obvious confusion...I am NOT trying to milk anything from ANY insurance company! I have been driving for 25 years and this is my first claim. WE SLID ON THE ICE!! There were many, many, many others sliding on the ice! That's what happens when there is ice on the streets! I did not come up with this compensation nonsense. My insurance agent brought it up. I was simply asking if they had a legal right to have my daughter "sue" me? Do I have to allow this claim? And if so...what is my daughter legally entitled to receive?! Thank you.

My daughter and I were involved in an accident when we slid on the ice into a guard rail. She experieced some soreness for a while, but no broken bones. She was mentally traumatized more than anything. My insurance company says that my daughter can "sue" me for pain and suffering and receive compensation. Since I am her guardian, I would be representing her in this claim (that seems like a conflict of interest). How much should we expect in compensation? Are the funds available for her now, or will we have to put it all in a trust fund?

recently was involved in an accident involving three cars. we were stopped bihind a car, another pickup with a loaded car trailer smashed us in the rear pushing us in the car in front of us. we were knocked across two lanes of oncoming traffic nearly being hit again. now this EMC insurance company is saying that we hit the car in front of us before we were struck, toalting out my pickup as a result. and they feel that they only owe for the diffrence in the salvage value on my pickup. if that was the way it happened they would be right, however we didn't hit the car we were pushed into it. why do insurance companies try to screw honest people? and yes there were minor personal injuries. i would advise no one buys EMC insurance they are a bunch of damn crooks.
