I failed my New Jersey driving test once back in december. parallel parking was the killer. i backed the car over the curve. the guy wasn't nice about it. he made me felt like an idiot. he said he had to fail me because of parallel parking but he checked every box off... basically saying that I failed every technique.
Since then I have postphoned my 2nd test because i couldn't handle going through it again.
I now have a test date of feb. 26. I must pass this time. i don't know why but failing a driving test does things to my self esteem and mentally. plus the fact that all the kids in my grade are passing left and right.
Please give me some advice on how to pass parallel parking and the test in general. thanks

My husband was in an accident. No ticket was written. The police report checked a checkbox for both drivers being "inattentive", and for the other driver "making an improper turn". The description states that the other driver made an improper right turn from the middle lane, causing my husband to collide into him.

The other guy's insurance company says they will only pay 40% because my husband is at fault. Personally, I didn't know that not paying attention was illegal, while making a right turn in front of someone from the middle lane clearly is. How can he go about contesting this?

My car's paint was stained by a pipe that broke and released stuff on it. The responsible party's insurance company is sending a claim adjuster to look at the car and determine how much they will pay me for damages. The trunk and bumper panels will need repainting. The problem I have is, the car's color is a very dark maroon metallic. It has a deep purple base and red flake over top. You can't match it because of the complex purple tinting and the size of the metallic particles. In other words, it will have to blended. If the car is blended, you will be able to notice the rear bumper is different when looking at the car from the side. To me that won't look right and it will also diminish the value of the car. How do I help the adjuster understand this and have him approve me to paint the whole car as to not diminish the asthetic and resale values? Thank you

My dad and I take turns paying insurance and I forgot to send payment in, so I had a lapse for about 5 days w/ no coverage (I wasn't aware of the lapse until after the accident). A driver was parking beside me as I was getting out and hit my door and totally messed it up. My insurance is not covering damages and other driver saying it's my fault. I have pictures, and feel it was the other's drivers fault. I'm not sure if I should try contacting the other insurance company, or just suck it up and pay for the repairs myself...

Is there a case law that i can review regarding a road traffic accident when the third party had pulled out of a side road & the claimant has had to take evasive action because of this & subsequently wrote their car off & suffered injury without hitting the TP vehicle?

file an insurance claim. If it is more than I can afford, then I will have to file a claim. It may take several days to get estimates. My question ----can the insurance company refuse my claim because it was not reported promptly?

I guess this is a registration question. I can't find anything online about this and don't want to wait at the DMV for 3 hours to find out I need to fill out a hundred forms to do this.

I have a car that's currently not registered and needs a smog check etc. I recently had to replace the odometer because it and the spedometer which are all one unit quit working, it was a mechanical problem in the gauge cluster so I had to ultimately replace the whole cluster. Now I have a car with a gauge cluster and an odometer that reads about 40K miles less than it used to have. Is there anything specific I need to do to register this car without setting off all the bells and flags of odometer fraud?

Just before Christmas I got a ticket in the state of Oregon. I am going to be paying it, and have the option to take traffic school on-line. But I hate traffic school in any form. So, if I can get away with not taking it and the infraction not being reported on my CA driving record, I wont take it. Please let me know if any of you guys know for sure.

I was recently in a wreck and I need to know if I should be able to designate who estimates the damages on the car? Also, should I be able to be there when the car is looked at by the insurance company's representative? Any help would be appreciated.

i hit a car that was parked out in the two lane road at the guys house. i don't have insurance. anyways i have little damage to my car. his inside front bumper is dangling. i offered to pay him 2000.00. it was iced out completely at night. his car is not even worth 800.00. it is not registered as any value in the blue books. anyways i found out that he was in a "no parking zone." i want to settle for 1400.00. he is at fault 100% first for no parking zone. no police were called and he has not taken the car to get a estimate. what happens if i tell him to see me in court if he does not agree to 1400.00?

They have comprehinsive coverage with a $500 deductable. He lives way out in the sticks and it isn't or should I say wasn't uncommon to leave the keys in your car and your house unlocked and such. He was getting ready to sell it. The person who wanted to buy it was in the process of getting it finaced. Any help?? Thanks in advance.

bought it for 200.00 from a mechanic next door to my office, so we know eachother, and both our reputations matter. i still owe 400, it's a nice 97 intrepid, dont let the dents fool you. but he never gave me a bill of sale or a title, which he was tryingt o get me to do paperwork for. it only had one headlight which was gonna get fixed for free by him, just never did it. then thurs. i got pulled over for the headlight and the car got impounded. now, i hjave to get it out today, but i lost my dl, and the car is titled to someone in new orleans. so its prolly a salvage car from the hurricane. i have just enough money to get it out of the impound, but not enough to get the title transferred, if that costs money... i want the guy to get the title in his name and go get the car with his dl, which he'll prolly do, but my question is what do i need to do to get the title? or the car... is it going to cost money for me to get the title? im confused, but i want feedback.

I was involved in a fender bender 3 years ago. It was probably my fault, but no one was injured. My car needed a lot of work, but their SUV might have just sustained a scratch. I just got the summons that all 3 people in the other car are suing me for bodily and emotional injury 3 years later. What do I do (besides contacting my insurance company)?! This is a fraudulent claim. Can they take what little savings I've worked on over the years for a down payment for my first home? Will they win? It's 3 people's word against just mine.

My car was stolen the other night, its a leased car, so i have full coverage. Im worried that I might get it back with damage, since it has happened in my neighborhood before. If the car is found without knowing who stole it, with damage, am i still responsible to pay my deductible for any repairs that may need to be done?

I was on my way home from work, on my motorcycle, a few days ago and was involved in an accident. It happened on a four lane road. A large SUV was in the left lane, a protected left hand turn lane. I was traveling straight in the middle lane with a car to my right traveling at the same speed and direction. As I was passing the SUV, who was in the turn only lane, they decided to merge into my lane, with no signal, at a much slower speed, and crossing a solid white line. Since I couldn't swerve into the either lane, I hit the brakes and swerved right just enough to avoid a collision. Unfortunately, my front tire lost traction, and I hit the ground at about 30 mph. The SUV drove off but a witness who was behind me followed them and copied their license plate number. The accident report states it was a hit and run accident, even though there was no contact. Also, they didn't have a driver's license. I filed a claim with her insurance, will they hold her liable?
