Just before Christmas I got a ticket in the state of Oregon. I am going to be paying it, and have the option to take traffic school on-line. But I hate traffic school in any form. So, if I can get away with not taking it and the infraction not being reported on my CA driving record, I wont take it. Please let me know if any of you guys know for sure.

It will go on your CA driving record.

It will go on your CA record. Drivers records are now nationalized so there's no way to hide from it any more.

take it from me

I get tickets in every state I go to (but I swear I'm a good driver)

and they never go on my record, and my insurance never goes up

How?

simple - get a lawyer
If it's something where you have to go to court (which mine always are) do a yellow pages search for lawyers in that county and hire one to go to court for you. They'll get the ticket knocked down to something that won't even matter, and nothing will go on your record. I just did it AGAIN this month
