I dunno but I like Erin! She's the only reason I bothered checking out Esurance. I didn't buy a policy through them but I did check them out. Insurance is a major scam any way!!!

Are Ford trucks the toughest on the road because they say it on their commercials. The standards for claims made in ads are worded in a way that claims can be made, or implied that may or may not be accurate under all circumstances.
I sold auto insurance for over 20 years. Geico had a lower rate than the company I represented a majority of the time, I would estimate they were lower about 80% of the time.
My company was lower in the other 20%. Geico doesn't use agents, they market directly by phone & internet which also allows them to be more centralized with lower overhead expense for offices in thousands of locations.
They're a reputable company & pay claims quickly & fairly, just like their competition. That's how insurance companies stay in business!! They have a responsibility to pay every claim their customer is liable for.
Insurance is insurance in some aspects, if coverage is the same.
Cars are cars too, but some people drive a car costing $50K, when they could get one for much less that still takes them where they want. That person wants the extras.
People who use an agent want the extras too, & are willing to pay a little more for service from someone they meet face to face, right down the street from home, who knows them better than a random voice at an 800 number.
If you understand what your coverages protect you against & how much is appropriate for you, then Geico or Esurance are quality companies and a good fit for you.

Not really. They're just advertising. I was with GEICO for a number of years and was always satisfied with the cost and service. I only switched when I became eligible for coverage through USAA, by far the best company on the planet.
The animation on the Esurance ads isn't exactly cutting edge. The actors who do the voices probably are SAG members though as unknowns they probably get union scale which isn't all that much. And the "actors" on the new (extremely annoying, IMHO) GEICO ads aren't exactly the hottest names in Hollywood today.

I drive a 4x4 and use it for business driving up my rates but am with Geico and am almost 35 cheaper per month than my clean record 64 yr old dad and his Impala who is with State Farm.
Insurance is insurance, they will all screw you when its time to pay up. But since its law to have, might as well pay the least in as you will get the least out.

Lol! I agree! Just another way to bilk you of your income. But, being insured by geico, I have no complaints! They charge me about $1000 less than progressive was charging me!
