Other driver hit my car from behind. Major whiplash. Doctor wrote note not to work for 2 weeks. Took car in for inspection for estimation of damages. Both my insurance and the other driver's insurance refused to pay for any damages. What should I do?

I am not familiar with driving such a big car like motorhome with the manual transmission. However,I am going to rent a motorhome for traveling in New Zealand but I quite don't understand about the insurance for the car renting.
I got an email from the motorhome renting company and I don't understand some details about it.

"Our Standard insurance is a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which covers the hired vehicle, other vehicles and property up to NZ$1Million.The excess (bond) is :
NZ$ 1500,-- ( for drivers aged 25 and over )
NZ$2000,-- ( for drivers between 21 and 24 years of age )
NZ$ 2500,- ( for drivers under 21 years ) "

What is the excess bond?
Why is it different between drivers age?

There is another options that is "Liability Damage Waiver" ,
the excess and bond can be reduced to :
NZ$ 250,- ( for drivers aged 25 and over )
NZ$ 500,- ( for drivers between 21 and 24 years of age )
NZ$ 750,- ( for drivers under 21 years )
Should I pay 16 NZ$ more to get this one instead?

I was in a accident in Aug. I was at fault, and she was injured. Her "claim" exceeds my insurance policy.

My mom and I own a car; she wants her name off the title so she's not liable. Right now, both our names are on the title. Does she have to sell the car to me or can she just put in a release of liablility? We are in california.

I totaled a friends car about a year ago. Needless to say we're no longer friends. the car was worth only 8k dollars but has an outstanding loan of nearly 10k. Unfortunately it had no collision insurrance. I had asked him a number of times whether the car was fully insured and he always insisted that it had everthing it needed. Dont cars with loans on them need collision? Illinois Here. Anyway what are my obligations, he's threatening small claims court because im not willing to pay for it. He hasnt told the loan company about the accident and the car was sold to a junkyard right after the accident.

Last year I went on vacation in Orlando. I had reserved a rental Jeep Grand Cherokee from them. When I got there to pick it up, they said to me that there were no Grand Cherokees left and I would have to upgrade to a Liberty (which is actually a downgrade) and pay the difference. Also they asked me if I had insurance and if I wanted thier insurance as well, I told them no, I have my own insurance coverage and my insurance company told me that I would not have to take any additional insurance. The rental place told me I needed to have it, so of course I paid for it because I thought...well maybe locally they need it. Now I'm going on vacation again, and I'm wondering if I'm going to have to pay more than anticipated again this year...or was I right in not having to take that insurance?

My insurance just expired on my car. (I was just getting ready to pay on it.) My sister, who does not own a car of her own, who is not on anyones else's insurance, who just learned how to drive, (18years old), did not know that my insurance had just expired, and had been borrowing my car. She just got pulled over last week and got a ticket for no insurance. They took her licence as "bond".

Will she get her liscence suspended for not having insurance when she was driving someone else's car, when she doesn't even have a car of her own to be insured, to even have insurance for herself??

Will I get my liscence suspended because I didn't have insurance on my car? (even though I wasn't the one driving it)?

So I called the people I sold it to but they will not respond to my phone calls....So is it possible for me to get back?if so what should I do to go about getting it?

I don't know much car insurance; in the electronic form, what coverage do I pick for full insurance instead of liability? Thanks.

recently co-signed for a car for a friend of mine. I believe that she will pay the car note on time each month but to be on the safe side I want to create a contract. What information / key points should I include in the contract? ( I am going to request that she remove my name from the title after 10- 12 months of non late payments)
