OR means either party can sign.
AND means both have to sign.

You're both the legal owners.....the OR makes it easier for you when conducting transactions with only 1 signature vs. 2 signatures. For example, when signing the title over to someone.

If you split, you'll need to work it out between the two of you, because if one of you signed the title over to someone else--the left out party on the title is gonna have a fit!!!

generally the person who used the car the most would get the car. If it's used equally , you'll have to work it out or the courts will.

when you have OR on the title, it means you only need one of the owners signature in order to sell it, if you have AND you need both signatures

If you have 2 you get 1 the other person has to sign off seeing how it is referred to as or either one of you can sign off it does not require both of you to sign if sold in some states.

depends on how they agree to split things up, the other would have to sign it over to one getting the car.
side note: DMV usually considers 1st named person owner of car and other as co owner.

You should negotiate that between yourselves. Either of you can sell either car without the other's consent.

You both have equal ownership, and DON'T need the other ones signature to sell it.
