I need to find out where my old car is, I know there are sites out there where I can enter the registration number and find out where the car is now. Anyone know of any of these sites.

try http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/index.jsp
or go to the dvla website http://www.dvla.gov and ask them. they charge £19 which i think is a bit too much but if you realy want to know then give them the money.
good luck

There are a few things you can do.
You can check the registration itself.
You can request the DMV check the VIN.
Some cars have stickers attached to the inside panels of one of the doors with all the paint and model info as well.

You can try carfax.com There may be a fee, or you may have to be a member. Not sure. It used to be free. You might be able to go to a local dealership and see if they use carfax, they may be able to help you. Or you can also check with your local DMV or Police Department.
I guess it depends on why you need to find out where your old car is.
