Is it only a year?

I'm not sure if it's worth me doing, I am more inclined to do it if I can get discount for a few years.

One example might be a 10% good student discount for a college student making a B average or better.

My girlfriend recently crashed into an ambulance with her car due to ice on the road. The car is not registered to either of us yet as we had just purchased short while ago. Most of the damage was to her car and the ambulance got a small scratch. The car is insured in my name and this is the second time she has had an accident while driving a car insured by me. It turns out that the paramedic that took the information down didn't get the right policy number or something like that. So I got a call from American medical response asking for that info which I said I would back to them with. My question is should I report this or just ignore their calls? They got her driver license and plates. Is there anything they can do to us if we ignore them?

If my insurance has a cap of $750 before my premium is raised...can I come to an arrangement with the other company to bill $745 to my insurance company and the remaining sum to me? Will they do that? Is that possible, or recommended?

i was driving my car on to motorway and the oil light came on,i thought just keep going to the next garage ,which was about a mile away, but it lost all power and stopped.i lifted the bonet and smoke started to come out....next thing i new the engine was on fire....i managed to get someone to pull over and they poured some water on it and it went out, only minimum fire damage occured but it dont start now and a mechanic friend says i need a new engine.
....anyway i phoned the insurance and told them what had happened and it was arranged for a pick up lorry to come get it. the salvage company has now got my car what will happen to it now?will they tell the insurance company its a write off and pay up?what if they say it was my fault because it wasnt maintained well enough?.....if so will they send it back to me or will they just scrap it,the body is ok its just the engine which will cost more than the car is worth to replace.should i have bothered putting in a claim?

I am interested in buying a car with a salvaged titel - I am in CA. It is in great condition and drives perfect plus I am getting it for a real, real cheap deal - so yes I want it! The owner is a real good friend of my uncle and that's why I am not concerned of any hidden problems! He is driving it on the roads and everything and has licence plates, so I assume I don't have to go through the endless procedure of getting it inspected and allowed to be driven? - Am I right with that?
Whoever out there who has bought a salvaged car in the past, can you share with me the "paperwork" details I need to know.
Anything special with the DMV I have to look out for?
What about the insurance?
thank you for sharing your knowledge!

I have an R Reg Corsa 1 Litre, and 6 years no claims, but it seems to be the age of the car that's bumping up my insurance policy? HELP!

Can the police arrest me if I don't pay?
I went to buy water and when I came back to my car I was holding both bottles of water and opened the door and the wind blew up the door and scratched the car next to me , the owner of the car was there, so he came to me and ask me to pay. It was a really small scratch, very thin and short, white.just an scratch.. I apologize to the owner and tried to take the responsability. but she wanted to me to pay. I didn't gave her my driver's license, nor the insurance.she only has my name, cell phone, and license plate number. She call me back! and said it will be 200 dlls.I don't think it's fair. Should I just get rid of the problem and not answer the phone, just not pay?

She call me back and change it to 500 . I don't have insurance, the insurance is under my husband's name, My license plate is from another city from the one I got the accident, I really think is difficult for them to sue me.
Don't you think is dificult if is only an scratch, to sue

my mother is coming to visit for 2 or 3 weeks from germany.she has an international/EU driver license. I asked my insurance if she can drive my car but they said no, and I can't buy additional coverage for her....
When I first came here I could even buy my car on an international DL. So, anyhow, does anybody know about if I let my mum drive and she would have an accident - what would happen? AND is there maybe a insurance I could buy an additional coverage for 2 weeks or something?
Thnak you everyone for your help.

I was doing a right hand turn when I lost control, slid bewteen two cars and hit one of them I was going 50-55 kph (posted 60kph) but was to fast for the conditions at the time. No one was injured and the damage on my car was $1500 and $2000 for the guy I hit if I was to get a police check for my employer would this show up?

I work for a great company and enjoy my job. However, at a conference held for all of the employees in August, we were told that all consultants, including new starters would be paid £17,000 per annum. However, at the time I was only on £15,500. Yesterday I received a letter saying that my company were dleighted to inform me that in line with the increase in pay scales they were increasing my basic pay to £15,810. The letter also said that my basic salary was not subject for review until 1/1/08.

I don't think this is fair. Surely, if they are taking on new starters on £17,000 then all of the existing staff should be on the same level. I want to challenge this, but as my branch is not performing that well (I work in sales) I'm worried they will say it is because we have not grown our business enough (although we did show an increase between 2005/2006). I could earn much more if I went to work in the city 20 miles away but don't want to leave this role! What do you think?

I went into the back of someone, is it totally my fault, even tho she slammed her breaks on? It was the slightest bump that cracked the bumper. The women then tried to get the passenger in her car to say that she had hurt her neck. Then she said about 2 minutes later that her neck was hurting. There was no way that a bump like this could have caused anything. She was obviously looking at pound notes for wiplash. What can I do?
