I will travel with my car through Skopje, Serbia and Modenegro and they ask for "green card" international motor insurance. If you don't have you have to pay at least 210 euro to pass through the country.

This is regarding a car. I have a car but cannot find my exwife to sign the paperwork over. The divorce paperwork is not good enough for the company and that if i cannot find her or she refuses to send the paperwork. It will have to be a paper repo.

I have a question about "points"
In July, 2006 I received a speeding ticket and on the ticket it said 2 points and $145.00 fine.
To this date I have not received a court date. I have been in contact with the court to make sure a court date was not set and to this date it has not. My intentions are to go to the court once I have been notified and plead guilty and ask for community service to have the points removed from my record, however I have been shopping around for new car insurance and I have been told that even if you do community service that the points are still reported to MVA and therefore my insurance most likely will increase. They also informed me that there is "driver license points" and "insurance points" I have never heard of this and do not understand the meanings and difference in both?
I would like to know what is the benefits of doing community service and having them removed? Also will my insurance increase? Is there a chance if I do community service to have them removed?

i have Malaysia driving lisence and my friend told me i can drive up to 1 year. Afterthat, i need to change it to UK lisence. My concern is, someone told me that the 'up to 1 year' means you can drive the 'first year' you came to UK.

As i've been here in UK for more than 1 year, but never drive so far, can i still buy a car and drive with my current malaysia lisence?

I recently had a car accident in which I was responsible for a collision. I admitted full responsibilty for the accident and swapped insurance details with the third party. Over 3 months went by when I received a solicitors letter from the third party stating that he was taking me to court to claim for the damages to his car as my insurance company has not yet honoured his claim (They are currently asking him for more proof). Can he seriously take me to court for these damages just because my insurance company are taking ages to sort his claim and when I have full and valid insurance for this kind of thing. Surely it should be the insurance company he takes to court?

Well, If I paid the ticket, will it show up on my record? Will it affect my insurance rates? I got a DMV printout in December, and it showed a clear record. I would like to know, since many job applications I fill out ask you to declare points. I dont want to say "no points" and get fired months down the road or something. I got a ticket for goin 81 Mph. in a 65 zone. I got the ticket at the I-10/I-20 interchange, where the speed limit changes from 80 to 65. I firmly believe the cop lied, as the ticket had so many errors....but I live 1200 miles from this place, so I paid the 200.00 BRIBE (Which was money orders only, written in the name of the judge.)

Last night I was involved in a very severe accident. I hit the back of the other car while either he was stopped in the fast line or was going by 10 mi/hr. I was going 65mi/hr and I don’t think I had any chance for any maneuver. Surprisingly the passenger airbag triggered while the driver airbag didn’t trigger. The accident was so severe that my car is totaled. Can I sue Honda for that? My car is Honda civic 2005.
I am doing alright and not injured.

My brother's car was just the result of a hit and run accident. The vehicle was legally parked and they discovered the back end of the car smashed in this morning. We got about 4 inches of snow overnight, which I'm sure contributed to the accident. Will the insurance cover it? We're in Wisconsin.

My husband was hit by another driver a few days ago. The other driver was at-fault and our state is an At-Fault state. The other driver has insurance. Our insurance policy has been lapsed for under 30 days. We were planning on obtaining insurance in 2 days. There is a chance the car may be totaled and it is financed with GAP. I believe that I read that GAP will not cover in the case of no insurance coverage. Does anyone know where we stand here? Will having the new policy in a couple of days in any way help regarding the GAP issue?

Also, the other driver's insurance company called today asking for info: Name, Address, our insurance info. What should we do?
