I have been looking at the guinea pig. I hear those are very socialble pet. I want something that is nice and I can hold. What size of cage should I get?

Or, do you have any suggestions for another furry rat animal. (No dog or cats or ferret, or bunny).

I just downloaded a program from limewire that normally runs from CD. I downloaded and extracted the .iso from the .rar files. I then ran an ISO tool to convert the files. Everything extracted beutifully, but now when I go to run the program it asks for the CD. How can I format this data to either run from a CD or set it up to run from my hard drive.

Hi all,

I've been making regular backups from my Windows XP Pro machine on to DDS2 tape using Veritas Backup Exec 10 and I suddenly had a thought - it's easy to restore files from tape when the files were written there by this installation of Veritas (when it has the tape catalogues recorded), but say (worst-case scenario) this entire machine were to fail, would it be possible to have a re-installed copy of Veritas read from one of these tapes and determine their contents?

Just wanting to make sure my strategy is sound :). Thanks for reading!

I received a bonus from work and have £3000 available to invest. Rather than just putting it into a cash ISA I am considering opening an online sharedealing account and investing in shares.

However, even the cheapest online brokers charge a flat fee of around £8-10 per trade.

I don't mind a moderate degree of risk, but I get the feeling that after trading fees are deducted I will struggle to beat the performance of a tracker fund or even a normal savings account even if I make good stock selections (and this is by no means guaranteed!)

Is there a general rule of thumb for the mimimum amount of money that a private investor should have before they consider investing directly in the stock market? Should I just stick with a cash savings account, or possibly tracker / mutual funds?

I can find my way around a pc, but I want and need some extra training in excel and sage. I'm worried that I'll go along to these courses and everybody there knows all the terms used in working with these kind of packages, and I'll not be able to pick up what I need to learn......I'm bound to be the one that constantly says "can you repeat that please" :-(
Am I expected to know more before I go on one of these courses?
I'm ok with Sage....I worked my way round most of that, but still need training on other parts. But, microsoft excel, I know nothing about.

why sometimes we try to help other people and it seems they don't see they are in danger and they don't listen to what we try to tell them? Why sometimes it seems we throw them a life boat but they still want to be in the deep ocean and fight against pirates and sharks instead of grabbing our hands and be rescued? Please, explain.
