I had a bad case of insomnia and tried everything the doctor prescribed. Nothing worked, or if it did, it was only temporary. I tried accupuncture with reservations and I swear to you that I have slept like a baby ever since. Give it a shot, you have nothing to lose!

hehe I hope your husband is as light-hearted about this as you! Unfortunately the herbal remedies will only help in sexual reproductive health and stimulation, not 'growth'. I can suggest some herbs that may be a good idea for those purposes. It may help if you take something to make you more receptive to any and all sensations, whatever the source. ;) Avena Sativa-Enhance sensitivity in pelvic area. Also a relaxant. Ginkgo Biloba-Increases energy (stamina), increases bloodflow to the pelvic area and the rest of the body and is a mood lifter. (Can also substitute Indian Ginseng which does the same) Schisandra-Also increases bloodflow to the sex organs. Most important thing to do is make sure you aren't taking any meds if you decide to use herbs. There are some that don't work well with others. Also if you have allergies, make sure you know what family the herbs are from! My favorite way to use herbs are tinctures, but you can also grind them and make capsules. As for other remedies, try finding alternate ways in 'connecting' and pleasing one another. :) Ultimately you already realize it is a spiritual union between you and your husband, so once you've 'united' perhaps you can break away and show him different ways of getting to the 'promise land'. lol Good luck and be blessed!

tamazepam have a very short half life...ie..if you take one at 10pm you will sleep for a few hours but wake in the wee small hours feeling 'odd'...go back to your doctor and ask advice on something that will not make you drowsy the next day but WILL let you get to sleep...are you worried about something...there is usually a root cause...saying that i am a nocturnal being...i sleep cos i have to or would not be able to function as a parent...tried hypnosis...worth a go..and i am pretty sure you can get it on the NHS now...acupuncture works but it is vital you keep it up//i did for 3 years and it made a huge difference straight away..but if i missed an appointment i would be back to square one...good luck...watch Fight Club brad pitt and eric norton)...now that is insomnia..great film too

Chronic insomnia is a symptom of a deeper problem, not a disorder itself. It could be medical or psychological. Your doctor needs to treat you further or refer you to a specialist.
Use of substances such as alcohol, caffeine or nicotine; or mood disorders like acute or chronic stress or depression can cause insomnia.
Have you tried Lunesta ?

Melatonin works quiet well.
Benedryl makes many peep sleep like a baby. Try one and then the other and then both.
Gotta get some rest. If all that doesn't work see a Dr.
