It certainly ought to be! Any further comment would need to be said with a lawyer present.

I'm from Canada currently living in the Philippines, and I've been all over, but I would have to say the one thing that remains the same, or at least very close, is McDonald's. McDonald's in Asia tends to also have rice, and spaghetti on the menu, and the supersize is a lot smaller than North American McDonald's (about our medium) and about half the price. In Europe, the McDonald's are over priced, and the food is some what tasteless in my opinion, and if that's not enough they also have small supersizes. I wasn't that impressed. I think the McDonald's in India isn't that great since they substitute beef with lamb meat, and in Malaysia, not that it's different, but I thought it was funny, because it is called HALAL MCDONALDS. McDonald's in Mexico was pretty neat, it had mojos, and spicy burgers when I was there, I liked it, but it was as expensive as an American McDonald's.
Worldwide, I enjoyed McDonald's in Canada the most, followed by China. China had some cool burgers, and it's cheaper.
The one thing that is the same everywhere though is the Big Mac. Gotta love it

There are McDonalds in most countries, but the cuisine varies according to the general taste of the particular country. Israel has a Mac Davids instead of a McDonalds.

I worked for McDonalds and I am almost certain that everywhere they call it McDonalds apart from accents ie: Le MDonalds, but in spain and the canary islands, also turkey they call it McDonalds. The only difference is that they have a variety of different foods and they cook it slightly differently so it tastes strange in other countries.
Hope this helps

A McDonald's is a McDonald's unless BurgerKing have bought the building, then it's no longer a McDonald's but a BK.

McDonald's is a trademark and protected by law so you get the same rubbish food in every country .

Not always! In europe in my experience it tends to be similar to the UK, however I live with an Aussie who was horrified by McD's over here - over there it is much more of a fmaily restraunt with many many more helthy options etc availiable. She had never considered McD's to be 'fast food'as that is not how it is presented over there. She has pointed out that she is talking about tasmania rather than australia as a whole so it may well be different in sydney etc but in hobart it certainly sounds from here as if you get a better class of burger than here in the UK!
