Jeez, these people. In GA the statute of limitations is 2 years for negligence claims resulting in personal injury. You can probably google - GA statute of limitations and personal injury, or something like that.

The time starts from the day you knew OR should have known that you had a claim. That may or may not give you a couple of days flexibility

You need to find out what your state law says regarding the statute of limitations. Property Damage lawsuit and bodily injury lawsuits usually have 2 different statutes. It can be anywhere from 1 year to 10 years from the date of the accident, depending on your state
