Obviously, you have to call the insurance company and tell them to add the 2nd car and give them the information about it. They will charge you for a 2nd car, but not as much as having two separate policies.

I have just insured my own car tonight and I have been trawlling through loads of insurance companies to find the best price.
Quite a few of them asked me if I wanted to add another car onto the policy.
I have just insured my car with e-car insurance following a tip from a fellow Yahoo person on here. They worked out quite a bit cheaper than all the other companies when you take into account the price plus the excess charges.

The Mondeo will cost more being more expensive and faster.
If you know how many miles you will do in a year split it between the two cars this can produce a big saving rather than an open mileage policy.

It is very likely you may add the 2nd car to your policy. All companies offer a multi car discount of some type, usually about 15%. It won't be cheaper than what you pay for just one w full coverage tho.

The number of autos that can be covered on one policy varies from company to company...you can't put as many as you want!!

In fact most companies limit the number of vehicles to 4 on a given policy, but will issue an additional policy as necessary & still give the discount.

There are still a few firms that only permit one car per policy, but they also offer multi car, just using separate policies.

Hello, your best bet is to pick up yellow pages and ask what they call "Insurance Companies" through means of what they call a "Phone". Chances are you will not only get an answer but a price as well.

Have you told your insurer your driving the second car on one policy? They normally expect you to have seperate policies for each car unless you hold trade style insurance.

you can put as many cars as you want on one policy matter of fact if you caryy full coverage on one and liability on the other its actually cheaper than full coverage on one alone with most companies you just add the other car to your policy and they mail you a copy of the policy and insurance card for the other car just call you agent he'll tell you exactly what to do his number should be on your card
