I got pull over for not having my insurance card on me. Later I found out I left it at home. But it's under someone else's name. Can I still clear my name and where do I take the ticket to with my proof of insurance?

As long as the vehicle that you were driving at the time had valid insurance you are ok. It doesnt matter whose name it is. As long as the car you were driving was insured at the time you were pulled over.
Call the local courthouse and find out what you need to bring in order to prove it was covered. Sometimes an ID card is not good enough. They may request a letter from the insurance carrier.

Insurance goes with the vehicle, not with the driver. If you have a card specific to that vehicle which was in force at and before you got the ticket, just take the card and the ticket to the clerk and it will probably be dismissed.

Bring the insurance card for the VEHICLE that you were driving to the court and the ticket will be dismissed. The insurance card must list the VIN of the vehicle that you were driving. Insurance follows the vehicle, not the driver.

If the motor vehicle is insured and you're using with their permission, you will no longer get a no coverage fee ticket. yet once you reside at living house and are approved, they actually could upload you to the coverage as one greater driving force.
