how many driving lessons did you have before you sat your test ? how many hours?

I lost count! At LEAST 20. And they were 45 minutes each.
I was a terrible driver (at first). Now, I have never had a single accident (been driving for 14 years)

If you mean that you think you are having to many lessons,there is a rule of thumb as an ex driving instructor 1 hour for each year you are,i.e 20 years old 20 hours,30 years 30 lessons,this is a good guide line.Good Luck

I had 32 lessons, mostly 1 hour, but with the odd 2 hour lesson thrown in!
As my driving instructor told me, I learnt to drive rather than learning to pass my test!!

tons !!!! everyone is different, you can't say it'll take me 16 lessons or whatever, your nerves may go to pot on the day of the test. Just find a decent instructor with a car that you like to drive (Corsa was mine) and pay attention when your on your lessons. Dont go out with family as well as having lessons, they don't know what is expected of you in a test so can't teach you up to test standard.

Until I was comfortable I had hours! Then I passed the test with 100% because I felt I knew what the hell I was doing!

passed my driving test when i was 18, took 20 lessons at 1hour each lesson

7 and passed first time,then at21 2 hours in a lorry and passed first time.
My dad had a haulage company before he died and was a great teacher.20 years with no accidents

in my day i had 3 including an hour before my test ...back in 1984

Motorcycle licence - 8 hours.
Car licence - 12 hours.
H.G.V. licence - 16 hours
