Not your fault? It is called Failure to Control. Did you get a citation for it. Different insurance companies rate people differently so it is hard to answer your question but if I had to guess I would say if you have damage to property or you are needing your car fixed from the insurance company the yes it will go up. Sorry

You can expect a premium increase for a period of time, probably 3 years at least. The second loss, as I'm sure you know, will be considered at fault (can't blame the ice, you have to blame your loss of control). Even though the first accident wasn't your fault, this in all likelihood will put a surcharge on your policy but the only way to know for sure is to ask your company!

Even though there was no citation - it is still at fault. Who would the insurance company sue - the ice?

More than likely if you claim it on your insurance is will increase.

If the damage is minimal and there was no one else involved you should be OK. I now that my insurance allows about 6 wrecks before you would be canceled. I would be care full. They do tend to increase your rates.

That is what insurance is for, you pay your premiums and hope you never have to use it, it is good to be there when you do need it.
