Age matters more, I believe. It's supposed to go down, but not as much as it used to. I spoke with my insurance agent about that since I'll be turning 25 in September and he said that 5 years ago, it used to go down a lot, now it's only about 10%. However, he also said I may find the rates to be lower with a different insurance company when I hit 25.

My auto insurance went down sharply when I turned 25. Years of experience DO matter, as does an accident and ticket free record.
Contrary to what someone else stated, although getting married will usually lower your rates, getting divorced WILL cause them to increase. Mine went up though I was 43 at the time and it was only about $30.00 a year.
Your rates will also probably drop again when you turn 30. After that, it varies by company. Mine dropped a bit when I turned 50.

For a male, if you have remained accident free by the time you reach 25 years of age, your rate should go down.
Last I knew, years of driving made no difference, just something magical about that 25 years of age.

Males over the age of 25 are less likely to do stupid stuff. The insurance co. thinks were more responsible at 25 and settling down. Getting married also lowers insurance.

There's a chance that it will go down - but don't believe that just because you have turned 25, your insurance will go down. If you have had an accident or a ticket in the year leading up to that birthday, then I wouldn't count on your insurance dropping. Hope it does, though!!

yes it will go down as long you keep a clean record try not to get tickets or get into accidents and especially do not get drunk driving tickets as long as you do not have any of the above it should go down a lot but remember insurance rates are also based on your zip code, sex, marriage status, and type of car and insurance types. just a tip if you do get tickets always go to driving school to clear them and if you crash always call the police department to take a report keep a copy to show non fault.good luck and if you live in the san Fernando valley area i can give you a quote we have really great rates it is called La Familiar Travel And Insurance 818 837-6206

With a clean record, it should drop at 25. It would also drop if you get married. Best part of that is...if you divorce, it won't go up!

appears like you want to regulate your coverage agency. Get a quote with some different coverage organizations. that is always more advantageous effective to analyze than have self belief that they are "investigating".
