I was just the victim of a 2nd accident in the same vehicle. I didn't plan any of this, my question is, since the car was pronounced a loss once, does it have an affect on this insurance claim? Am I screwed?

No, you can still file a claim. Once a car is claimed a loss, you have the option of keeping the car. If the insurance company says your car is worth $10,000 and they say it is totaled, you can buy back your car for a fee of around $400. So you will receive a check for $9600, and you can do the repairs that the car needs or sell off any parts that you wish. If this same car is in an accident again , and it isnt your fault again, the insurance company would need to recoup the money from the other drivers insurance and reimburse you again. BONUS

I would say, if your driving a totaled car and are in another accident, you may be in trouble. I would call the insurance company as a "My friend would like to know" type of call!
