This is not your decision. Usually an insurance adjuster will make this decision for you. If there is no frame damage then i cant see why it ont be repaired. The car will probably never be the same a year or 2 down the road. My advice is to do what the insaurance says to do, if they fix it, then put it up for sale and recoup what you can. Look for another vehicle in the meantime or trade it in for a new car.

PS.. What happened to the deer to get $9300 in damage? Was the deer totalled?

If both airbags deployed it will be considered totaled...if the repair is more than half the cars value the insurance will usually total the car...the insurance company will give you the difference but make sure what the car is sellinf for in your neck of the woods and if it is seloling for more you can fight it out and tell them to hand the rest of the cash over...but don't settle for less, most insurance companies try to low ball you and try to pay off the least amount of money

Take quarter-hour to *examine* your coverage to choose what's their technique in paying a declare, while a automobile is seen a finished loss, how the value is desperate. actually have a glance at whether or no longer they assure the upkeep accomplished, for a fashion long? hard artwork and factors are frequently separated. certainly dealing with of a declare is what separates great and universal coverage companies, do no longer purchase a coverage in line with value on my own.

For your car to be totaled, the repair price must exceed the amount the car is worth. Since it does not, your car is not totaled.

If they don't total it. Get rid of the car as fast as you can. That much damage and it is never be the same.
