Last year I've gotten 2 speeding tickets here in the state of california. I received them both within 2 weeks. I cleared one of them with traffic school, but I couldn't clear the other ticket because you can only do traffic school once a year per ticket. My question is, will this one ticket that is on my record make my insurance go up? I have 21st century insurance by the way if that helps with answering this question. And also how many points would that be on my record? Please answer asap. Thank you

Traffic school clears 1 ticket, now you will have 1 point. Most companies raise rates at your renewal. If you have been with then a long time, they may have a forgivness of 1 ticket or accident. It will stay on your record 3 years (CA law) but each year you are clear, the rate should drop until it comes off.

I have a friend in San Diego who had the same issue and same insurance company a couple of years ago. Her rates did not go up however she was a pretty safe dirver up til then and was with 21st for quite a few years before the tickets. I personally think you have nothing to worry about(so long as it wasn't something silly like doing 80 in a school zone)

This will be only one point on your record . you cleared one so it will not show. If you were sighted for reckless driving then it would be two points.

now will this effect your insurance it really depends on the company, your previous driving record, if you're a long time customer, etc..

You'll have to check with your insurance company. Every one has different rules. Some are more lenient with long-term customers with clean records.
