If someone knows anything or has any similar experience in Louisiana...I'd like to know about it please. Because I know the laws are different in every state. And I heard that I can take a defensive driving class and the ticket can be reduced to a non-moving violation, but I don't know where to go for that or how to do that.

probably not, i get tickets all the time. just pay the ticket.. and dont get caught speeding for a while.

It's not based on state law, it's up to the insurance company. The only way to find out is to check with your insurance company.
