Well you havent gone into much detail why it was taken. Are you going to repeat the behaviour that got it taken away. Do you have someone to stand up for your credibility in court? A jury will decide if you get it back?

Tell them you're sorry, and are just young and stupid. The law in your state will dictate if you get back your license. Driving is a privilege, not a right, and you've learned a lesson. Ask for community service and probation..

You'll have to point out that you didn't cause any damage or hurt anyone while you were driving, and it wasn't just because of luck, that you're actually responsible.
If you lost your license for, say, driving drunk, vehicular homicide, driving to endanger, or another major violation, you're not going to convince anyone.

Drive a tractor. No license required to drive farm equipment.
But seriously, stop doing whatever got you to loose your license, and take an advanced driver's course ... and PASS

Honestly, if you have to convince a jury to give you your license back, I don't want you to have your license back.
No offense, but you could live in my town.
