In most cases, a non related driver(One that does not reside in your household) given your expressed permission to drive your car is covered. Your car did the damage to the gas pump so the owner of the car is responsible for the damage. Your company may report this as a property damage liability claim on your record but the company should not charge you more because you didn't cause the accident and you didn't receive a moving violation for the accident on your driving record.

Yes, you would want to file an insurance claim for the store will most likely have a high repair bill and possibly loss of income claim against you. If your vehicle is damaged in the accident, your friend's insurance may cover your damages but your insurance for your car will pay for the gas pump damage.

You may get surcharged for the accident in the future, since it's your policy, afterall, that is going to pay for all the damages. However, your friend will now have an accident following him around for the next 3 to 5 years.

Find out how much it is to repair, but more than likely you won't be able to afford it. Turn it in to the insurance co. And as always, make sure you get a police report!

Yeah, you better call it in to your insurance company! And file a police report. And file a DMV report.

And yeah, it's going to hit your rates! Unless you want to pay the damages out of your pocket!

No. This won't affect your rates. Driving history follows the driver.

However, they have the right to deny the claim if he's not a listed driver. They may drop you from coverage due to lack of listing correct information.

penal complex is a threat in case you do no longer very own as much as regulation enforcement. penal complex is definite if regulation enforcement unearths out on their very own. Obstruction, identification theft, submitting a fake assertion, etc. in case you do no longer come sparkling on your man or woman, you would be able to as properly be sued with courtesy for the cost of the study/courtroom costs/etc. call the police and confess. Your life would be extra handy interior the long-term. it won't pass away. each 2nd which you opt for for to waste of the courts time and officers time will make issues worse for you.
