You can always go to the doctor now and use the medical coverage that's on your fiance's auto policy. Go now, this is your body we're talking about, your wellbeing. Save all your receipts and give them to YOUR insurance company. Then call the claimants insurance company yourself and turn in a claim. Unfortuanately, with no report, this guy could change his story and claim he's never met you guys before. But I'd still turn in a claim and see what you get.

As always, run this past your agent as the rules and coverage may vary in CT.

Neck and wrist pain? The next day? With no damage at all to two, driveable cars? And instead of going to a doctor if you're really in pain you post HERE asking if you can "do anything"??

You're one big walking fraud indicator for any insurance company. Vehicle bumpers in the front and rear sustain minor impacts without transfer to the passengers - that's what they're designed and required by law to do.

The mechanics of most low-speed impacts that leave no damage to the vehicle is usually less than that of coughing, stepping off a curb you didn't see, or riding in any amusement park ride. Ever ride a roller coaster in your life?

I think you need to take a hard look in the mirror and decide if you really think you're "injured" from this accident and need to "do something". While TV ads for lawyers and chiropractors might tell you different, I think you know in your heart what's going on.

If you're hurt, go to the doctor. It's a car accident, not the lottery.

You'll need a witness or 2... Re the pain... It's only natural, since you were physically traumatized... Give it a week or so... Bet it'll fade quickly... Hope so... Good thing you called 911... They should have a record of your call... If you were in TX, however, you could be charged with making a bad call to 911 and leaving the scene of an accident... Unsure about the laws up there... Best to consult a lawyer first...

Of course you can. You need to make a claim against the other guy's insurance company. You should phone them and find out how you proceed. If you don't get any joy from them, then get a lawyer and he/she will sort it out for you. Do not worry about how to prove how you got injured - you were in an accident and you later had to go to the hospital to get treatment. The other guy would not just give you his insurance details unless there was an accident. It is not that difficult a matter to prove.

The whole purpose for calling the police is so that the whold thing can be documented... If you don't have proof you better just hope the other guy is honest, or stupid enough to at least admit that there was an accident... Without the documentation it's your word against his.

In order for the insurance company to pay out any claims, they're going to ask for a police report. You may be able to go to your local police dept. to file an accident report.

right away...go to hospital ER ROOM OR your family doctor, and get an examination. get it all documented. call the connt, state dept of motor vehicles , request an accident form , have your boy friend fill it out, make a copy save that , mail in original. contact both insurance companies, yours, & the other drivers insurance claims dept. right away. start a claim folder, for all your injuries, treatments, hosp. & doctor bills, keep notes, names, dates, do not miss doctors appointments. if you have to go to court, this will stand out.
BEST OF LUCK

You can still go to an urgent care place or ER. What you are experiencing is pretty common. You may end up having to pay at first, but someone's insurance will eventually pay.
