Does anyone know if Ceico has a pattern of not paying or even if it is known if they have a policy of refusing payments to accident victims of the “other” car? The car that hit me was covered by Ceico My car was covered by another company. Ceico refuses to pay even though it was their covered drivers fault. I want to know if this is their pattern or what?

I was in an accident on tuesday. It was the other drivers fault, they were ticketed. I have not really hired an attorney but I have talked to them. They told me not to give a statement to the person's adjuster. Why is the adjuster from their insurance calling me to investigate when It was their clients fault? They got a ticket and they admitted fault right after the accident. I almost want to go ahead and give a statement just so I can get a settlement for the car but I'm scared that I could possibly say something that would make me look like i'm to blame or they could find a loop-hole through what I say?

I just failed my driving test yesterday and now i feel down and what not. Apparently, the drive was smooth, but the examiner marked me down at lot for not scanning the road ahead of me. If I did, I would of passed as I was marked down 9 points for traffic check. I got 3 errors more of what would have been passing. My next test is in 2 weeks. Any pointers? Thanks.

and my husband was in an accident.. His fault, he rear-ended her. We payed he deductible, and now her insurance company is trying to come after us for the damages. Can they do this? I thought that was why they paid for insurance. If I would have had insurance, they would have only paid her deductible. I also got a signed statement from the other vehicle owner accepting the money for the deductible and settlement.

My boyfriend got slammed with a reckless driving (93mph) PTA (promise to appear) on January 5th. He was told by his step father that his insurance could triple. He already has a couple points on his license. Is there any way to avoid the insurance increase or minimize the cost of how much it goes up? He is willing to go to drivers retraining, and willing to pay the fine, but he doesn't want his insurance to go up monthly. Is there certain things he should do in court?

The car is in my name. He admitted to pay for the damages, the car was parked and told her to get the estimate of the charges. The damage of the vehicle is a stratch from paint to paint contact on the door handle, we decided not to go through insurance because we were handling it and it was a little stratch, does she have the right to choose which estimate she prefers or do we have a choice to pay the amount that is reasonable for us?

I'm an 18 year old male. I have the good student discount and took Steer Clear (a program from State Farm that lowers your insurance) and I pay $114 a month. I am a part-time driver on a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt and I don't have any tickets. Is this too high for me?

I recently got married to a woman fromanother country. We have submitted the paperwork to get her permanent residence status. But, when I took her to take her drivers license test, they said she needed a "green card", or an I-94 that is valid for at least 6mo (I think the max. an I-94 can be is 6mo!!!). So, now we have to wait for at least 9mo for her to take her drivers license test. Has anyone run into this problem here in TX <---since it seems like TX has the strictest laws in this.
Does this mean that a person cannot get a license until after they obtain their PR status? Ridiculous!

I am 22, and am in the process of getting my driver's license in NY state (this will be my first license). While studying the driver's manual, I came across rules about when you're allowed to drive after you've received your license. Do these rules apply to me as well since I'm over 21, or do they only apply to people 18 and under?
