Yes, I had an '04 Chevy Trailblazer stolen in Mar of '05. It was never recovered.

My insurance company paid me a little better than wholesale minus my deductible. Fortunately I had purchased gap insurance and they paid off the rest including my deductible.

Mine was stolen from my job, (I was a supervising manager at a restaurant food distribution trucking company). I left it parked there over the weekend while I moved to another state using a moving van. When I got back it was gone.

I have had quite a few cars stolen over the years. Several were taken from the retail lot, after closing. Most of them were recovered fairly quickly, thanks to good work from the local police.

I actually had one stolen from in front of an auction facility, where I had left it to be sold. The car had a bad head gasket, and a dead battery, so it obviously was stolen by someone who towed it. It was never recovered, so I have to assume they stole it to sell to for scrap metal!

If they treated car thieves like they did horse thieves in the old west, we would not have this problem. If you steal a car, you should be hung by the neck until dead in the town square!!

it incredibly is greater durable to do now in days than it replaced into back in the early 80's and before. They now have a gadget in the tank that makes in close to impossible to syphin gasoline from a vehicle/truck I even have consistently wanted to take some from my dads vehicle that replaced into in no way being pushed whilst i replaced into extremely low and had in simple terms approximately no money tho. What extremely sucks is my boyfriend a pair weeks in the past totaled his vehicle. He consistently had in basic terms a pair of a million/4 tank, reason he could no longer locate the money for to maintain it at finished. and whilst he necessary gasoline, he in basic terms had approximately $15-$20 to place into it. whilst he did have the money to fill it up (after Christmas), he could shop putting $10 right here and there to maintain it on the F line. He totaled his vehicle, and had an entire tank of gasoline whilst it got here approximately. for optimistic, he could no longer get the gasoline back out!
