If you report it to police now, guess what? They will cite you for driving without insurance.

Has her insurance adjuster contacted you, or did she just file to get her own vehicle repaired? If her insurance is taking care of your vehicle being repaired, then what are you worried about?

Hopefully you've learned your lesson. Go get some insurance and quick. If not for your own sake, do it for the sake of your child.

First off- driving your child around in a uninsured automobile? You should be ashamed.

Second- now you just have to hope she is honest to her insurance that way they would cover yoru damage and rental. If she is dishonest and there are no witnesses or proof of her fault- you are screwed. Generally i tell people to go through their own insurance at this point but well- you screwed yourself over.

You should be thanking god right now you didnt kill someone when you were driving around uninsured and have to spend your life in poverty paying back the debt. Take this as a lesson and fix the problem before its too late.

Why would you report it to the police now if her insurance is paying for this? The police after the fact probably won't take a report anyway.

why do you hope she is honest when you are not. you should not even be driving with no insurance in the first place especially with children. i hope her insurance finds out you have no insurance and doesnt fix your car, that will take one more uninsured mototist off the road. one reason our insurance goes up more and more is because of people like you who drive with out any. i mean im glad you were not hurt but drive responsablly and that means pay your part.

if you have no insurance, you can't do anything. you might have your license suspended if you report it to the police. my advice is you're on your own, and i doubt the lady's insurance will pay you. sorry but thats what you get for not having insurance.
