Just use the OEM Harley stuff, or is there something better for V-Twin motors? Also how often do you guys change your oil? I put on about 5k per summer and figure change it at the beginning, middle, & end of the riding season. 'Bout right?

I have a Chevy s10 that will die in hot weather. Once I stop and turn off the ignition it will start again and run great until it happens again usually 30 minutes or it may not happen again at all the rest of the day. Hottest day of the year here yesterday. I could only run it about 10 minutes before it died. (Died 5 times) This morning ran fine on way to work (30 minute drive). Any Ideas?

The seat belt chime in my 2006 Jeep Commander is so annoying. I don't need a reminder to put my seat belt on. I appreciate that some folks do need it. Is there a programming option to disable it? It might not be so bad if the it would chime less frequently or at a lower volume.

I have a '94 Saturn LS and the speedometer and odometer aren't working.

I'm trying to fix this on my own without having to go to a mechanic. I have looked at the fuses and they all look good with no apparent breaks in contact. So I am not sure where to look next.

Does anyone have an idea for me to try?

I took my '06 chevy for a brake problem. After my car sits for several hours, then you start the car and put it in drive, the brakes won't work! Feels like you turned the engine off and trying to stop! Also, the whole car shakes when applying the brakes at highway speeds. I take it in to the chevy dealership and they take my car for two days and then call me up and tell me it's done. I go to pick it up and I see the service report saying they didn't do NOTHING. "Everything normal at this time" is what they wrote! I"M MAD NOW! I went to another chevy dealer and they found some kind of a brake booster vaccuum leak or something like that and the rear drums needed to be re-surfaced. My problem was solved now but I want to get the other dealership back for not fixing the car like they were supposed to! Their service manager never called me back to discuss! I hate chevy dealers...bunch of fat azzes sitting on their chairs doing absolutely nothing but keeping their chair warm And Who is fixing the cars? Some school yard boy or a fat azz santa clause who looks at the car for two days then rights “normal”

That is to say, which kinds of companies (which industries) are more likely to train people who haven't got CDLs, and have no formal experience driving class B commercial vehicles?

Interested in driving Class B vehicles only. Want to be home every night, so that rules out trucking companies.

I have a CDL learners permit, passed airbrakes /combination /tanker /hazmat exams, 1.5 years experience as a courier driving a car and a van, a spotless driving and criminal record, 35 years old, female, healthy, no handicaps or impairments, and am tobacco/alcohol/drug free.

When the car gets to the danger zone, the a/c gets hot and the cd player turns off. The car keeps overheating but no water or oil leaks. The fans are working, I have changed the thermostat and the radiator cap. Does anyone know what could be wrong with my car.

the batteries on my 1991 explorer keeps going down, I have checked the altnator and it seem to be fine,I do have an alarm on the car, can that be the problem is there any way that it can be turned off. I need help! my battery is new the next day it was down I have had about three new ones. HELP

I purchased a used 2003 Tahoe in March of this year... We were good till about 1 month ago my truck started not starting, we would have to jump the battery off or charge it to start it. That would last for about 3 or 4 days, and then we would have to start the whole process over again. We bought a new battery this past weekend and it again lasted 3 days and then dead.
What can be causing this? No doors or lights are being left on. I have even made sure that I dont leave my cell phone charger plugged in anymore.

I've travelled the M5 from Bristol to Gloucester for 2 years now. The speed limit is broken by many by cars and vans that pass me doing at least 80 to 90 mph.
I rarely see police cars or speed traps.

This is not a question of the validity of the 70 mph limit, this is about why this law is not enforced.

well lets see i recently payed a dwn payment on a 1996 dodge neon and the only thing wrong with it as i know it is that the windshield is cracked, and the front end associated with the tires is messed up.we think its either a wheel bearing or a tie rod that needs replacing. this car only has 76000 miles on it but ive now heard numerous complaints about the early dodge neon cars. like head gaskets and etc. idk what else could be wrong with the car bc i couldnt take it to a mechanic before i bought it bc these people lived to far away from my mehanic. i need a car to get back and forth from school and im running out of time. do you recommend go ahead and get this car or not and lose the 200 i payed down on? what else could be wrong with it?

I'm turning 25 at the end of August, and my insurer has told me they are canceling my current policy on 8/27 if I do not pay today. That's fine with me, because my premium is so high right now due to 4 at-fault accidents on my record (& the fact that I live in an expensive-insurance zip code). Two of those accidents come off my record starting in September, and due to that and my age change I'm thinking my insurance would come down $800-$1000 less than the premium I'm paying now for 6 months (over $2000). The penalties accrued in my state amount to $175 for re-registration of an uninsured vehicle, and I figure if I go to the DMV right away with my new insurance card, explaining that I did not drive my car between 8/27 and 9/1 (or whenever my new policy starts), I can get away without any additional court fees or tickets on my record. But I'm wondering what the insurers will think if I try to sign up for insurance without any preexisting. Do they penalize (with rate hikes) for this?
