my parked car. It;s an old best extremely kwell kept Honda Civic with revbuilt engine now only 102,000 miles on the engine.

That was 7 weeks ago and I have YET ro receive a written offer from them in settlement despiute three times faxing documents and police reports since 7-13. They claim that my company still might be partially liable. It's ludicrous, and the 93 year old had zero muscles tone, probably on all sorts of old people medications s the past many years, and basically lost control on a sloped street or fell asleep.

How can I get this moving, or what options do I have, because it's costing me to insure this car to sit in the street, and I do not have anywhere to store it. It';s not drivable. They declared it a total loss, and yet, this '88 car would cost me 1600- 2000 at a dealers in worse condition than mine.

I have a 1991 Volvo 240 and my mechanic says he puts this brake powder in it to stop it. However, it only works for a little while but then again it is squeak-o-thon time! I wonder if he is not diagnosing correctly or just does not know how to fix it. Any suggestions? This is so embarassing!

I'm thinking about changing to them 'cause of the cheap rates. Is it worth going "cheap" ? How are they on claims ? Service ?
Action ? Dependability ?

When a car honks and people walking on the sidewalk look towards it, why do they do that? Even though the honking is directed towards another car, not at the person.

I've noticed that a lot of people who advocate wearing protective gear all the time usually make comments about chaps. What do you do to protect your legs? It's time to retire my old leathers, they're all worn out. On Monday, I bought a jacket I liked. Textile, armor, etc, etc... The old chaps are as bad as the old jacket and get tossed too. What do I replace them with? New leather chaps would seem silly, even to me.
Suggestions? Recommendations? Tall stories, even?

I am trying to prep my vehicle for a long drive from Pittsburgh, PA to North Carolina. I have a 2000 Chevy Tracker that I just bought a couple months ago. its in fairly good shape. Is there anything I should get done to my vehicle prior to driving it this distance? This is my first vehicle.

I just recently got an oil change(including transmission fluid) and a tire rotation. Would anyone recommend something else?

Serious answers please

Last time I had to buy rotors for my car in came in a box of two, we just took my husbands car in for tires/brakes and they said we needed rotors. Usually I would go to the parts store myself and get the parts and bring them for installation, but I didn't this time. So I'm just curious if they don't come in two's always. I looked up the part on napaonline, but it doesn't specify how many are in there.... I dunno...

Ok! i bought my car off a used car lot! Its a 2005 Chevy Malibu Classic! I got it with no warranty from that lot but is it still possible to have came with a warranty from the manufacturer? My car broke down last week! It has low mileage and is still a rather new car! Think its emissions or something else! The fact is my newer model car doesnt work, start, or run! Of course! I cant afford a new engine due to no car to make it to work! Its crazy how 1 unfortunate situation can affect another! No car,no work! No work, cant make car payment! Dang! Real crazy like! But its fact! What can i do? Does anyone out there have a cheap car or one i can take over payments to get out of this jam? What can i do? And i need an answer to my initial question! What would you do? No money saved for down payment until i work again! What would u do?

Co worker bought a 2001 VW Jetta GLX for his son last week at Washington DC for $7700 (The car has DC plate and title and He paid with a cashier’s check). When he went to the Virginia DMV(where he lives) to register this car the DMV told him this car was a salvaged car(car was in a serious car accident 3 years ago and it was rebuilt), therefore they cannot register this car until the VA DMV inspect the car and pass the test, if not he needs to make necessary repairs until it passes). They asked the seller if the car was involved in accidents before and seller only said someone rear ended him couple weeks ago and got a new bumper, the seller failed to disclose about the salvage issue. My question is what can he do now? Seller refuse to take car back, can my co worker sue? If so at DC court or VA court? Please help.

Do you know where I can get a part for a Sherman Tank. The valve lever for one of the pistons broke in two, and the closest place is two hours away and its a pain in the butt to move it by flat bed. Any help on where I can get the part? I can put it on myself. Thank you

have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am GT with a 2.4 liter quad 4 engine. It is also a 5 speed with 154,000 miles. My car ran fine until i put a for sale sign on it in my front yard(go figure:). The other day i went to crank it to wash it off from sitting under the trees and there was nothing but a click. Well after about 6 clicks it started turning over BUT would not crank. I turned the key off and try again and there is a click again. Sometimes it might take 2 turns of the key and sometimes 6 or 7 times before the motor starts turning over. Not sure what the deal is so out of curiosity I had my wife come out and try get it turning over(after a couple of trys) and I sprayed starting fluid into the breather. It acted like it was going to crank then but to no avail. Could you offer any advice on this problem and thank you
